CHECKERED FLAG: Jimmie Johnson wins the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 at Las Vegas, his third consecutive victory at the track.

Lap 267 -- WHITE FLAG: Jimmie Johnson is cruising at 1.771 seconds ahead of Jeff Gordon.

Lap 263 -- Leader Jimmie Johnson is out front by 1.4 seconds ahead of his teammate Jeff Gordon.

Lap 261 -- Denny Hamlin gets around Mark Martin in an ongoing battle for third.

Lap 257 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson gets the race back under way.

Lap 253 -- A handful of cars hit pit road:
• Carl Edwards is on pit road for four tires
• Tony Stewart gets adjustments and tires
• Jeff Burton is back on pit road for adjustments
• Sterling Marlin's crew pushes his car down pit road; he's likely finished

Lap 252 -- Jeff Burton and Dale Earnhardt Jr. hit pit road, however it is closed and both drivers will receive penalties. Earnhardt takes four tires. Earnhardt said he didn't see the red light signaling pit road was closed; he was only following Burton.

Lap 251 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 9: Kasey Kahne spins in Turns 1 and 2 and backs into the wall. He has major damage to the rear but drives away.

Lap 244 -- Jeff Burton drops back and loses second place to Jeff Gordon. Burton's team is afraid they might need to change batteries.

Lap 240 -- LEAD CHANGE: After going side-by-side through the frontstretch, Jimmie Johnson goes by Jeff Burton to take the lead.

Lap 238 -- Jimmie Johnson pulls beside of Jeff Burton for the lead, but he is not able to make the pass.

Lap 237 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Burton goes to the outside and moves by Jeff Gordon to take the lead. Jimmie Johnson also goes by Gordon.

Lap 233 -- GREEN FLAG: Jeff Gordon takes the green once again.

Lap 231 -- Jeff Gordon tells his crew he thinks he has a flat tire on the left-rear, but he decides not to come back to pit road.
