• Martin Truex Jr. gets out in 14.2 seconds
• Carl Edwards has a quick stop in 13.2 seconds
• Ryan Newman comes out with the lead

Lap 328 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: Ward Burton has smashed the wall and has significant damage on the right side.

Lap 315 -- Regan Smith has indeed replaced David Stremme as driver of the No. 40 car because Stremme has an upset stomach.

Lap 295 -- LEAD CHANGE: Martin Truex Jr. moves around Ryan Newman for the lead.

Lap 275 -- GREEN FLAG: Ryan Newman leads the field to green.

Lap 273 -- NASCAR has parked Kurt Busch. During the caution, Tony Stewart was on pit road with his crew working on the machine, and Busch pulled alongside and had some words to say. Stewart's crewmen jumped out of the way in fear of getting hit by Busch's car.

Lap 272 -- Leaders are on pit road.
• Ryan Newman has a fast stop by gaining three spots
• Carl Edwards loses two spots

Lap 271 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Kurt Busch makes contact with Tony Stewart and slams the wall.

Lap 250 -- Dale Jarrett is on pit road without water pressure. The hood is up on his machine.

Lap 247 -- David Stremme is sick to his stomach and plans to get out of his car. His team has contacted Regan Smith, who was in Mark Martin's pit. Smith has gone to the garage to get prepared.

Lap 243 -- Jimmie Johnson is running fifth. Carl Edwards is second and continues to roll off fast lap times.

Lap 222 -- LEAD CHANGE: Martin Truex Jr. is back out front when pit stops cycle through. He has a 4.2-second lead.

Lap 220 -- Clint Bowyer is on pit road for his stop as the leader. Kyle Busch is also on pit road.

Lap 219 -- LEAD CHANGE: Clint Bowyer is the leader after Carl Edwards pits. Tony Stewart is also in for his stop, as is Kurt Busch.

Lap 218 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards inherits the lead when Martin Truex Jr. gets on pit road, although he nearly misses the entrance.

Lap 217 -- Kasey Kahne is in for his stop, as is Ryan Newman.

Lap 216 -- Jeff Gordon is on pit road for his stop, and his crew member slips on a hose. Gordon has several adjustments.

Lap 215 -- Matt Kenseth leaves 11th spot to hit pit road for major adjustments. Elliott Sadler is also in for his stop, as is Mark Martin.

Lap 214 -- Casey Mears is on pit road to begin green-flag pit stops. Joe Nemchek and Sterling Marlin follow him.

Lap 205 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is off the pace once again and hits pit road several laps earlier than expected. Once again, it's a problem with the right-rear tire.

Lap 200 -- At the halfway point, Martin Truex Jr. leads Carl Edwards by 4.791 seconds.

Lap 190 -- J.J. Yeley is back from the garage. That puts all 43 cars on the track.

Lap 174 -- After early pit-road problems, Jimmie Johnson is now in the top 10.

Lap 162 -- Tony Stewart has moved into the top five. He started 30th. (Continued)
