Lap 39 -- Ryan Newman works his way around Scott Riggs for second position.

Lap 36 -- Jimmie Johnson is buried back in 36th position, just ahead of Kevin Harvick, who is battling a potential electrical issue under the hood.

Lap 31 -- GREEN FLAG: Kasey Kahne gets the race going again.

Lap 30 -- Jimmie Johnson returns to pit road to repair damage from swiping Kyle Petty on pit road.

Lap 27 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kasey Kahne takes the lead. Johnny Sauter stays out because he's sharing a pit stall with A.J. Allmendinger, but does not lead.

Lap 26 -- The field hits pit road:
• Carl Edwards is tight but makes adjustments in 14.6 seconds
• Kasey Kahne improves four spots and is out first with right sides only
• Ryan Newman makes no adjustments and gets out third
• Scott Riggs improves six spots to come out second

Lap 25 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: The first competition caution is out.

Lap 20 -- The back end of a storm is looming over Dover, while the competition caution is five laps away.

Lap 15 -- Carl Edwards is on the move after starting fifth. He is on leader Ryan Newman's tail.

Lap 1 -- Ryan Newman leads the first lap.

12:16 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: Ryan Newman and Dale Earnhardt Jr. take the green on the Autism Speaks 400.

12:10 p.m. -- Cars are on the track for warmup laps.

12:08 p.m. -- "Gentlemen, start your engines."

Noon: FOX is on the air and pre-race festivities begin immediately with the invocation and national anthem.

SUNDAY
2:17 p.m. -- The Autism Speaks 400 has been postponed until noon ET Monday on FOX.

2:01 p.m. -- Rain is back and dryers are off the track.

1:34 p.m. -- Dryers are on the track. Apparently there's a slight clearing in the weather and officials feel positive that the race will be run on Sunday.

1:03 p.m. -- During the pre-race broadcast, Jeff Hammond reports sources are telling him Dale Earnhardt Jr. may be close to signing a deal with Joe Gibbs Racing with Visa as a sponsor.

1 p.m. -- FOX's pre-race coverage is on the air, but it is raining harder.

12:48 p.m. -- Rain is coming down on Dover International Speedway and continues to threaten the race.
