Lap 273 -- NASCAR has parked Kurt Busch. During the caution, Tony Stewart was on pit road with his crew working on the machine, and Busch pulled alongside and had some words to say. Stewart's crewmen jumped out of the way in fear of getting hit by Busch's car.

Lap 271 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Kurt Busch makes contact with Tony Stewart and slams the wall.
Lap 250 -- Dale Jarrett is on pit road without water pressure. The hood is up on his machine.
Lap 247 -- David Stremme is sick to his stomach and plans to get out of his car. His team has contacted Regan Smith, who was in Mark Martin's pit. Smith has gone to the garage to get prepared.
Lap 243 -- Jimmie Johnson is running fifth. Carl Edwards is second and continues to roll off fast lap times.

1 p.m. -- FOX's pre-race coverage is on the air, but it is raining harder.
12:48 p.m. -- Rain is coming down on Dover International Speedway and continues to threaten the race.
