Lap 68 -- Martin Truex Jr.'s two-tire experiment continues to hurt him as Kurt Busch passes him for third.

Lap 66 -- Carl Edwards moves up to second after passing Martin Truex Jr.

Lap 65 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson's four tires compared to Martin Truex Jr.'s two paid off for the No. 48 as he passes Truex for the lead.

Lap 63 -- Tony Stewart continues to climb as he is now 18th after starting 43rd.

Lap 61 -- Jimmie Johnson passes Dale Earnhardt Jr. for second. Johnson trails leader Martin Truex Jr. by 0.6 seconds.

Lap 58 -- Jeff Gordon falls to sixth after Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards both go around him.

Lap 56 -- GREEN FLAG: Martin Truex Jr. brings the field to the green.

Lap 54 -- All the leaders hit pit road

• Jimmie Johnson with a chassis adjustment and four tires
• Jeff Gordon says car is tight, makes adjustments and takes four tires
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. comes off pit road in second after taking two tires
• Carl Edwards takes four tires

Lap 52 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Debris in Turn 2. Juan Montoya will get the free pass and get back on the lead lap.

Lap 51 -- Brian Vickers passes Denny Hamlin for sixth. Martin Truex Jr. leads by 1.8 seconds on Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 48 -- Juan Montoya and Kasey Kahne are on the verge of going a lap down.

Lap 45 -- Jeff Green, Reed Sorenson and David Reutimann are among the cars now a lap down.

Lap 43 -- The top five after the first set of pit stops:

Lap 40 -- LEAD CHANGE: The cycle of green flag stops is complete as Martin Truex Jr. is back in front after Casey Mears pits.

Lap 39 -- LEAD CHANGE: Casey Mears inherits the lead when Denny Hamlin pits. Dale Earnhardt Jr. also pits and makes minor adjustments. Hamlin is clipped by Juan Montoya as he enters his pit stall but it doesn't look like any damage to either car.

Lap 39 -- Jeff Gordon hits pit road and makes adjustments, takes tires and fuel. Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton and Tony Raines almost collide on pit road.

Lap 38 -- LEAD CHANGE: Denny Hamlin takes the lead when Martin Truex Jr. hits pit road. Truex makes minor adjustments and is away. Jimmie Johnson also hits pit road.

Lap 37 -- Kyle Busch gives up ninth position to head to pit road. Tony Stewart also on pit road and he makes adjustments. Busch makes an air pressure adjustment. (Continued)
