Lap 35 -- Green flag stops begin with Joe Nemechek hitting pit road for tires and fuel.

Lap 34 -- Mark Martin and David Ragan are now a lap down.

Lap 33 -- Brian Vickers is now up to fifth after passing Kurt Busch.

Lap 30 -- Martin Truex Jr. is beginning to lap cars. John Andretti, Elliott Sadler, A.J. Allmendinger and Scott Riggs are all one lap down.

Lap 28 -- Brian Vickers continues to climb as he passes Carl Edwards for sixth. Martin Truex Jr.'s lead is now up to 3.7 seconds on Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 27 -- Polesitter J.J. Yeley continues to fall back in the field. He is now scored in the 20th position.

Lap 25 -- Kyle Busch has fallen back a bit. He is now down to eighth after Kurt Busch, Carl Edwards and Brian Vickers all pass the No. 5.

Lap 22 -- Ryan Newman is back on the track and scored three laps down after his tire issue on pit road.

Lap 20 -- After starting 43rd, Tony Stewart has worked his way up to the 33rd position.

Lap 19 -- Martin Truex Jr.'s lead is now more than two seconds in front of Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 17 -- Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards are on the move as Busch is up to sixth and Edwards up to seventh after both started outside the top 10.

Lap 14 -- Ryan Newman drops out of the top five with a left rear tire going down. He will go at least one lap down as the crew is having trouble getting all of the tire off.

Lap 12 -- Jeff Gordon gets around teammate Kyle Busch for fourth.

Lap 11 -- LEAD CHANGE: Martin Truex Jr. passes Jimmie Johnson for the lead.

Lap 9 -- J.J. Yeley continues to fall as Casey Mears climbs into the top 10 passing Yeley for 10th.

Lap 7 -- Martin Truex Jr.'s climb continues as he passes Ryan Newman for second.

Lap 6 -- Martin Truex Jr. passes Kyle Busch for third.

Lap 3 -- Hendrick is running 1,3,5 with Jimmie Johnson leading, Kyle Busch in third and Jeff Gordon fifth. Ryan Newman is second and Martin Truex Jr. is fourth.

Lap 1 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson jumps out in front to lead the first lap. J.J. Yeley is stuck out of line and falls all the way back to sixth.

2:18 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: For the first time in his career, J.J. Yeley brings the field to the green in the Citizens Bank 400.

12:30 p.m. -- We are less than 2 hours away from the green flag at Michigan for the Citizens Bank 400. TNT's pre-race coverage has begun and the weather in Brooklyn is perfect -- 80 degrees under sunny skies.
