CHECKERED FLAG: Tony Stewart wins his second consecutive race by winning the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard!

Lap 160 -- WHITE FLAG: Tony Stewart takes the white flag and has a three second lead on second-place Juan Montoya.

Lap 158 -- Reed Sorenson passes Kevin Harvick for fifth.

Lap 158 -- Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch pass Kevin Harvick for third and fourth.

Lap 157 -- Juan Montoya goes below Kevin Harvick in Turn 1 and makes the pass for second.

Lap 156 -- The race is now for second as Juan Montoya is on Kevin Harvick's bumper with five laps to go.

Lap 155 -- Tony Stewart leads by more than a second and has it in cruise control.

Lap 153 -- Tony Stewart has put some distance between him and Kevin Harvick. Juan Montoya is closing in on Harvick.

Lap 152 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart is able to complete the pass on Kevin Harvick.

Lap 151 -- Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick run side-by-side.

Lap 151 -- Kevin Harvick continues to lead with Tony Stewart right on his bumper.

Lap 149 -- Tony Stewart again gets below Kevin Harvick in Turn 3 but Harvick is able to hold.

Lap 148 -- Kevin Harvick has put a little distance between him and Tony Stewart with 12 laps to go.

Lap 147 -- Tony Stewart gets below Kevin Harvick in Turn 3 but Harvick is able to hold.

Lap 145 -- Tony Stewart is closing on Kevin Harvick with 15 laps to go.

Lap 143 -- Juan Montoya passes Jeff Gordon for third.

Lap 142 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kevin Harvick gets a great restart and passes Tony Stewart in Turns 1 and 2.

Lap 141 -- GREEN FLAG: Tony Stewart brings the field to the green.

Lap 139 -- All but seven cars pit. Jeff Burton, in eighth, won the race off pit road. Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Juan Montoya, Reed Sorenson, Clint Bowyer and Bobby Labonte stay out.

Lap 138 -- Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Jeff Burton, Kurt Busch and Greg Biffle are among the cars who pit. Kyle Busch takes four tires and fuel, Burton and Biffle with fuel-only stops.

Lap 136 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 9: Dale Earnhardt Jr. had his engine blow and he is done for the day. He takes his No. 8 Chevy to the garage giving up the fifth position. Brian Vickers gets the free pass.

Lap 134 -- Tony Stewart has a 3.5-second lead on second-place Kevin Harvick.

Lap 132 -- The top five after what should be the final pit stops of the day:

Lap 130 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart is back in front as green flag pit stops go through a cycle.

Lap 129 -- Kyle Busch pits and takes four tires and fuel. Denny Hamlin also hits pit road for four tires and fuel. Hamlin stalls his car on pit road and is on pit road for more than a minute as he will go at least a lap down.

Lap 128 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Busch takes the lead as Tony Stewart hits pit road. Stewart takes four tires and fuel. Kevin Harvick also takes four tires, makes an air pressure adjustment and takes fuel.

Lap 127 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. gives up sixth and pits. He takes four tires and fuel and makes an adjustment. Jeff Burton also takes four tires.

Lap 126 -- Dave Blaney is on pit road and takes four tires and fuel. David Ragan also with four tires and fuel.

Lap 125 -- Greg Biffle is on pit road. They take four tires and fuel. Martin Truex Jr. and Carl Edwards also pit.

Lap 124 -- Matt Kenseth is on pit road beginning green flag pit stops. They take four tires and make a chassis adjustment.

Lap 122 -- Tony Stewart leads by 4.8 seconds in front of Kevin Harvick. Harvick is complaining about a lack of grip on the car.

Lap 113 -- Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. pass Greg Biffle to move to fourth and fifth. Kyle Busch gets around Juan Montoya for third.

Lap 112 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart passes Kevin Harvick in Turns 3 and 4. David Stremme is on pit road fixing the damage.

Lap 111 -- Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart are battling for the lead. David Stremme got loose and hit the wall.

Lap 109 -- Jeff Gordon is up to sixth and Dale Earnhardt Jr. is sitting in seventh.

Lap 106 -- Juan Montoya and Kyle Busch move up to third and fourth dropping Greg Biffle to fifth.

Lap 105 -- Tony Stewart moves up to second after passing Greg Biffle.

Lap 104 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kevin Harvick passes Greg Biffle to lead for the first time today.

Lap 102 -- Kevin Harvick up to second and Tony Stewart moves to third as both Clint Bowyer who only took two tires on the last stop. Greg Biffle has a piece of aluminum flopping around but NASCAR will not black flag him.

Lap 100 -- Juan Montoya is up to fifth. Jeff Gordon is up to ninth.

Lap 99 -- David Gilliland falls to fifth on two tires as Tony Stewart and Kevin Harvick pass him.

Lap 98 -- GREEN FLAG: Greg Biffle brings the field to the green.

Lap 96 -- Scott Wimmer is back on the track 14 laps down. David Reutimann is in the garage area.

Lap 94 -- David Reutimann returns to pit road with smoke in the cockpit.

Lap 93 -- LEAD CHANGE: Greg Biffle uses pit strategy and wins the race off pit road. Tony Stewart falls to fifth.

Lap 92 -- All the leaders hit pit road.
• Martin Truex Jr. takes four tires, makes an air pressure and track bar adjustment
• Kevin Harvick takes four tires and fuel
• Juan Montoya with a minor adjustment and four tires
• Tony Stewart with four tires and an air pressure adjustment
• Greg Biffle takes two tires
• David Gilliland takes two tires
• Clint Bowyer takes two tires

Lap 91 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 8: Debris on the front straightaway. Bill Elliott will get the free pass.

Lap 89 -- Kyle Busch is back up to fifth after pitting when the rest of the leaders didn't.

Lap 85 -- Kevin Harvick passes Matt Kenseth for third. Tony Stewart leads by two seconds on Juan Montoya.

Lap 82 -- Scott Wimmer is on pit road making repairs.

Lap 80 -- GREEN FLAG: Tony Stewart brings the field to the green.

Lap 78 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart reclaims the lead when Kyle Busch hits pit road. Busch takes four tires and makes a track bar adjustment. Denny Hamlin, Clint Bowyer, Kurt Busch and Scott Riggs among the group making stops. Busch, Bowyer and Scott Wimmer crash on pit road, Wimmer gets most of the damage.

Lap 77 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 7: Debris at the entrance to pit road brings out the caution. Ricky Rudd will get the free pass.

Lap 75 -- Ricky Rudd and Bill Elliott are the only two cars a lap down. 10 cars are currently off the track.

Lap 73 -- Juan Montoya and Tony Stewart pass Matt Kenseth for second and third.

Lap 72 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is fading as David Stremme and Denny Hamlin both pass him. Earnhardt is now in 12th.

Lap 70 -- Juan Montoya is up to third and Tony Stewart up to fifth.

Lap 69 -- Matt Kenseth passes Brian Vickers for second.

Lap 68 -- GREEN FLAG: Kyle Busch brings the field to the green.

Lap 63 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Busch is one of five cars to stay out instead of pit and inherits the lead. Brian Vickers, Matt Kenseth, Martin Truex Jr. and Scott Riggs also stay out. Juan Montoya, who won the race off pit road is sixth.

Lap 62 -- All the lead-lap cars hit pit road.
• Jeff Gordon takes four tires
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes two left-side tires
• Tony Stewart takes two right-side tires
• Juan Montoya takes fuel only and gains three spots

Lap 61 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 6: Jimmie Johnson cuts a tire and smacks into the wall. The car is on fire but Johnson gets out of the car OK. No one gets the free pass since Johnson was the first car a lap down.

Lap 60 -- GREEN FLAG: Tony Stewart brings the field to the green.

Lap 55 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: Casey Mears get loose and spins collecting Elliott Sadler, Kyle Petty and Johnny Sauter. Mears and Sadler collect the most damage. Martin Truex Jr. gets the free pass.

Lap 55 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart passes Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the backstretch.

Lap 53 -- GREEN FLAG: Dale Earnhardt Jr. brings the field to the green.

Lap 52 -- Jimmie Johnson is back on pit road making repairs. This is his fourth pit stop on this caution. He is the first car one lap down. Martin Truex Jr. was penalized a lap for blowing the stop sign leaving pit road.

Lap 50 -- Casey Mears in on pit road.

Lap 47 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Jamie McMurray gets loose and hits Scott Riggs which also collects Jimmie Johnson, Bill Elliott, Ricky Rudd, J.J. Yeley and Robby Gordon.

Lap 44 -- GREEN FLAG: Dale Earnhardt Jr. brings the field to the green.

Lap 41 -- Martin Truex Jr. had to return to pit road for speeding when exiting pit road.

Lap 40 -- This will be considered the second competition caution so NASCAR will not stop the race unless a caution is warranted.
• Jeff Burton changes all four tires and makes an adjustment
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes four tires and fixes their front bumper
• Tony Stewart with a chassis and air pressure adjustment
• Martin Truex Jr. takes two tires and gains 10 spots on pit road

Lap 39 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Kasey Kahne gets loose and clips Tony Raines forcing both cars into the wall. Both take their cars to the garage. There will not be a free pass.

Lap 38 -- Mark Martin passes Jimmie Johnson for eighth.

Lap 34 -- Kurt Busch continues to fade as he is currently 14th after David Stremme and Dave Blaney pass him.

Lap 33 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. has opened up a two-second lead on Tony Stewart.

Lap 31 -- Jimmie Johnson passes Kurt Busch for eighth.

Lap 27 -- Jeff Gordon passes Kurt Busch for seventh.

Lap 25 -- GREEN FLAG: Dale Earnhardt Jr. brings the field to the green.

Lap 21 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: Ryan Newman spins, hits the wall bringing out the second caution. He takes his No. 12 car to the garage. No one was a lap down to get the free pass.

Lap 21 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dale Earnhardt Jr. passes Tony Stewart at the start / finish line to take the lead.

Lap 19 -- Denny Hamlin was caught speeding exiting pit road and will serve a pass-through penalty.

Lap 18 -- LEAD CHANGE: Tony Stewart beats Reed Sorenson off pit road and takes the lead.

Lap 17 -- The competition caution has been waved since this yellow is out. Teams can put fuel in the cars and all the cars are on pit road.
• Jeff Burton takes four tires, fuel and makes a minor adjustment
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. with four tires and fuel
• Reed Sorenson makes a track bar adjustment, air pressure adjustment and takes four tires
• Tony Stewart with four tires in a quick stop

Lap 16 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Jeff Green blows a tire and smacks the wall hard. He takes his No. 66 Chevy to the garage. Jeff Green would have received the free pass but since he brought out the caution, no free pass was given.

Lap 13 -- Juan Montoya falls to fifth as Jeff Burton and Tony Stewart pass the No. 42 Dodge.

Lap 10 -- Jeff Gordon continues to be on the move as he is now up to 11th after starting 21st.

Lap 9 -- Tony Stewart passes Kurt Busch for fifth. Jeff Green makes an unscheduled pit stop.

Lap 8 -- After starting third, Ryan Newman has dropped to 10th.

Lap 7 -- Reed Sorenson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. have a two-second lead on third-place Juan Montoya.

Lap 5 -- Jeff Gordon is in the top 15 after starting 21st.

Lap 2 -- Tony Stewart is moving his way up to the front as he is up to ninth after starting 14th.

Lap 1 -- Reed Sorenson leads the first lap and Dale Earnhardt Jr. moves from fourth to second.

2:22 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: For the first time in his Cup career, Reed Sorenson brings the field to speed and the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard is underway.

2:17 p.m. -- In a tribute to the passing of Wake Forest basketball coach Skip Prosser, all four Richard Childress Racing cars feature the Wake Forest logo on their "B" panel.

2:14 p.m. -- The cars are rolling off pit road.

2:10 p.m. -- Clint Bowyer will move to the rear of the field for an engine change. NASCAR has also announced there will be two competition cautions at Lap 15 and Lap 40.

2:08 p.m. -- IMS Chairman Mari Hulman George delivers the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines."

2:01 p.m. -- Byron Bartosh performs the national anthem.

2 p.m. -- Invocation by Rev. Howard Brammer.

1:40 p.m. -- ESPN has a feature called, "Who knows me better, my crew chief or my wife?" This week was Kevin Harvick and let's just say even though DeLana is at the track each week, she isn't privy to the inside of Harvick's mind like crew chief Todd Berrier is.

1 p.m. -- ESPN's coverage of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard has started.

12:24 p.m. -- Less than two hours from the drop of the green flag for the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard. The rain that messed with practice all weekend is gone and the sun is shining on Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
