Lap 176 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 6: Debris in Turn 4 brings out the caution.

Lap 175 -- Top five after the final pit stops of the day:
1. Kurt Busch
2. Jimmie Johnson
3. Denny Hamlin
4. Matt Kenseth
5. Kyle Busch

Lap 172 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kurt Busch reclaims the lead when Ryan Newman pits. Newman's crew has to fix the shark fin and they also make a wedge adjustment and take four tires. Fixing the shark fin is taking forever and he lost a lot of time on pit road.

Lap 171 -- Paul Menard is still on pit road with heavy smoke coming out of his engine. It looks like his day is done.

Lap 170 -- LEAD CHANGE: Ryan Newman takes the lead and gets five bonus points when Kurt Busch hits pit road.

Lap 169 -- Kurt Busch is on pit road and takes four tires and fuel, he doesn't make any adjustments.

Lap 168 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. overshot his pit and he had to back it up on pit road. They take four tires and fill it with fuel. Paul Menard's car is smoking.

Lap 167 -- Jeff Gordon is on pit road to fix the shark fin and take four tires. The stop took a while and he could lose some spots.

Lap 166 -- Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin on pit road. Kenseth says he's tight so they make a chassis adjustment and give him four tires. Hamlin with four tires and a minor adjustment.

Lap 164 -- Brian Vickers begins what could be the final round of pit stops. Air pressure adjustment and wedge adjustment for Vickers with four tires and fuel.

Lap 162 -- Denny Hamlin passes Jimmie Johnson for third. Jeff Gordon and Ryan Newman have been told to fix the shark fin on their next pit stop.

Lap 158 -- Tony Stewart is closing in on Brian Vickers for eighth. Kurt Busch still has a 3-plus second lead.

Lap 152 -- Chase bubble update:
• 12th-place Kurt Busch is leading the race
• 13th-place Ryan Newman runs 19th
• 14th-place Dale Earnhardt Jr. is fifth

Lap 151 -- Kurt Busch leads Jeff Gordon by 3.4 seconds.

Lap 146 -- Kurt Busch puts David Stremme and J.J. Yeley a lap down.

Lap 142 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. passes Matt Kenseth for fifth.

Lap 140 -- There are 27 cars on the lead lap with Johnny Sauter the first car one lap down.

Lap 132 -- Greg Biffle makes a wedge adjustment and takes four tires. Dale Earnhardt Jr. pits and takes four tires and fuel.

Lap 131 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes the lead and gets five bonus points when Kurt Busch pits. Busch takes four tires and fuel and makes an adjustment.

Lap 130 -- Jimmie Johnson makes a track bar and air pressure adjustment. Jeff Gordon takes four tires and makes a small adjustment.

Lap 129 -- Matt Kenseth gives up third and makes his pit stop. He is getting his fender fixed and will take four tires. Denny Hamlin also on pit road taking four tires.

Lap 127 -- Brian Vickers begins another round of green flag pit stops.

Lap 123 -- Matt Kenseth says he has some fender damage and he won't be able to win with the car the way it is. Jimmie Johnson has closed the gap and is challenging Kenseth for third.

Lap 121 -- Jeff Gordon passes Matt Kenseth for second.

Lap 117 -- Kurt Busch has a 1.3-second lead in front of Matt Kenseth.

Lap 113 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. continues to fall as Carl Edwards passes him for eighth.

Lap 112 -- Kyle Busch passes Dale Earnhardt Jr. for seventh.

Lap 109 -- LEAD CHANGE: The swapping of the lead continues as Kurt Busch passes Matt Kenseth again for the lead. (Continued)
