Lap 387 -- RED FLAG (5:35 p.m. ET): Cars are stopped to clean up the mess.

Lap 386 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 12: Big crash on the straightaway involving several cars. Kurt Busch had something break and shot him straight into the fence. Several Chase cars are damaged. Busch's car hit the wall, bounced off and into Reed Sorenson and a pileup ensued. Cars involved:

Lap 366 -- Matt Kenseth hits pit road. He says he is running on seven cylinders right now. The crew lifts the hood to diagnose the problem.

Lap 365 -- Crews are still working to help John Andretti get out of his car after the hard impact.

Lap 363 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 9: Tony Raines and John Andretti crash hard coming off Turn 2. Andretti got loose and lost it, slamming into Raines.

Lap 363 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards takes the lead from Matt Kenseth. Kenseth says he's blowing up.

Lap 361 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth gets the race back under way. Six cars are on the lead lap.

Lap 352 -- Art Harris, the crewman for Michael Waltrip's team that was injured earlier in the race, has been treated and released from a local hospital.

Lap 341 -- Just nine cars are on the lead lap. Only Matt Kenseth (second) and Mark Martin (third) are within half a lap of leader Carl Edwards.

Lap 335 -- Denny Hamlin, who had returned to the track after previous issues, slowed to get onto pit road and spun his car around sideways. No caution.

Lap 325 -- Carl Edwards has a slight edge on Matt Kenseth after green-flag pit stops.

Lap 322 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards goes around teammate Matt Kenseth for the top spot.

Lap 319 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth inherits the lead when Reed Sorenson pits.

Lap 318 -- Jeff Burton, Jeff Gordon and Kevin Harvick all make their stops.

Lap 316 -- LEAD CHANGE: Greg Biffle gives up the lead and is in for his stop. Jimmie Johnson is in. Reed Sorenson takes the lead.

Lap 315 -- Clint Bowyer pulls in to make his stop. He gets a chassis adjustment and four tires. Kyle Busch is also in for what should be his final pit stop.

Lap 313 -- Tony Stewart is on pit road for four tires and an air-pressure adjustment. Martin Truex Jr. gives up second spot for his stop.

Lap 310 -- LEAD CHANGE: Mark Martin gives up the top spot to make his stop for four tires and a chassis adjustment. Greg Biffle inherits the lead.

Lap 298 -- David Stremme's crew pushes the car down pit road. It's the second time in two weeks that the No. 40 car stalled on pit road.

Lap 295 -- The top eight drivers on the track are on a different pit cycle, so many may choose to stay out in order to try and make it to the end on one more pit stop. However, they are losing nearly 2 seconds per lap to drivers with fresh tires.

Lap 292 -- Ryan Newman is in for four tires and fuel in 14.5 seconds.

Lap 290 -- Matt Kenseth is in for his stop and is looking for more grip. Kurt Busch is in to reverse his earlier track-bar adjustment.

Lap 289 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards hits pit road for a scheduled pit stop. He gets four tires and a slight adjustment. Mark Martin is the new leader.

Lap 282 -- Mark Martin has caught Carl Edwards and is trying to work his way to the lead.

Lap 272 -- Mark Martin takes second position from Matt Kenseth.

Lap 268 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth floats up the track and Carl Edwards slides underneath to take the lead.

Lap 264 -- Three of the top four cars are Roush Fenway drivers: Matt Kenseth (first), Carl Edwards (second) and Greg Biffle (fourth).

Lap 253 -- Mark Martin has moved into third position. Although he's driven Ginn cars with DEI engines since the merger, this is his first race driving a DEI car.

Lap 248 -- Kevin Harvick's problem turned out to be a punctured tire. He is now three laps down in 37th.

Lap 244 -- Carl Edwards moves below Kurt Busch to take second position.

Lap 238 -- Kevin Harvick is off the pace and is being passed. He slows and heads to pit road, already two laps down. His crew changes right-side tires.

Lap 236 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth gets the race going again.

Lap 229 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 7: Jamie McMurray slides up to the wall and has right-side damage. He cut a right-rear tire. But he manages to stay on the lead lap. He slid into the wall after making contact with Juan Montoya and sliding into Turn 3.

Lap 216 -- Kyle Petty and Denny Hamlin have to be separated in the garage after Petty has words with Hamlin following the Lap 204 crash.

Lap 212 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth gets the race back under way.

Lap 209 -- Clint Bowyer, who was seventh before the caution, is back on pit road after multiple stops. His crew has removed the right-front fender. A bracket that holds the splitter on the car was broken.

Lap 207 -- Denny Hamlin, who was sixth before the caution, heads to the garage. He attempted to return to the track, but a brake rotor broke. He returned to pit road without brakes and the crew had to stop the car.

Lap 205 -- Leaders are in:
• Matt Kenseth is conserving power and gets tires
• Kurt Busch gets an air-pressure adjustment
• Juan Montoya comes off 10th by gaining four spots
• Clint Bowyer's crew works on the right side as the driver is upset
• Denny Hamlin's crew spends extra time on his car

Lap 204 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 6: Kyle Petty gets spun by Denny Hamlin coming off of Turn 4 and goes nose-first into the wall. He has major damage while Hamlin has significant damage on the right side. Clint Bowyer has slight damage on the right-front.

Lap 200 -- At the halfway point, six Chase drivers are in the top 10 while four are at least one lap down. Jeff Gordon (11th) and Carl Edwards (13th) are the two in-betweeners.

Lap 193 -- After his pit stop, Jimmie Johnson is now running 36th, two laps down.

Lap 188 -- Jimmie Johnson is slow on the track and he is wiggling as he heads to pit road. He has a flat right-rear tire. The crew changes all four tires.

Lap 185 -- Michael Waltrip is running in 15th position.

Lap 175 -- After his unscheduled stop, Kevin Harvick is running in 37th, two laps down.

Lap 171 -- Kevin Harvick is on pit road and thinks he has a loose wheel. The crew changes all four tires and he is out in 17.8 seconds.

Lap 168 -- Greg Biffle moves by Kurt Busch to take second position.

Lap 152 -- Kurt Busch moves around Dale Earnhardt Jr. for second spot after Earnhardt wiggles. Greg Biffle also goes by Earnhardt.

Lap 158 -- Matt Kenseth is reporting that the alternator may be broken in the No. 17 car. His main battery is low on voltage, and so is the backup battery. Kenseth begins turning off unnecessary items in the cockpit.

Lap 153 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth gets the race back under way.

Lap 151 -- Jeff Green gets penalized for a pit-road infraction and must go to the back of the pack.

Lap 150 -- Carl Edwards returns to pit road to work on his throttle leakage problem. The crew lifts the hood and goes to work.

Lap 149 -- The leaders head to pit road.
• Carl Edwards gets four tires but will return to address a throttle issue
• Kurt Busch gets four tires and fuel in 13.9 seconds
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. gains two spots and is off second
• Kyle Busch gains three positions on pit road
• Robby Gordon gets the free pass

Lap 148 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: The yellow flag is being displayed so the gate can be opened and the injured crewman, Art Harris, can be transported out of the racetrack via ambulance

Lap 140 -- There are 28 cars on the lead lap. Jeff Burton is running 27th. Tony Stewart is in 25th.

Lap 132 -- Three cars have run every lap inside the top 10: Matt Kenseth (first), Kurt Busch (third) and Denny Hamlin (sixth).

Lap 124 -- NASCAR officials have confirmed the injured crewman for Michael Waltrip's team is Art Harris. He is "alert and awake" and will be transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Lap 122 -- Carl Edwards moves around Kurt Busch for second position. Busch says his tires feel like basketballs, making his ride very bumpy.

Lap 120 -- Jeff Gordon is running in 11th and complaining of a loose car. He has lost three positions since the last restart.

Lap 111 -- Dale Jarrett is off the pace with some smoke coming from his car. He heads to pit road. He said the engine was missing and losing power, and that he has no power steering.

Lap 99 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth has his car dialed in and slips by Kurt Busch on the outside groove.

Lap 98 -- Matt Kenseth has gotten around Carl Edwards and is closing in on leader Kurt Busch.

Lap 91 -- Matt Kenseth has moved up to third as Denny Hamlin has his hands full with Casey Mears in a battle for fifth. Carl Edwards is in second chasing leader Kurt Busch.

Lap 90 -- After starting in 42nd, Clint Bowyer has moved all the way up to 14th thanks to pit strategy.

Lap 85 -- GREEN FLAG: Kurt Busch leads the field to green.

Lap 80 -- An ambulance is on pit road to treat an injured crewman for Michael Waltrip's team. The gas man, identified by MRN Radio as Art Harris, was hit by a loose tire on pit road. The loose tire was struck by David Ragan's car and went flying toward Waltrip's car as it was being serviced. The tire struck the crewman in the helmet, knocking him down. The crewman was loaded into an ambulance and driven to the infield care center.

Lap 79 -- LEAD CHANGE: Due to winning the race off pit road, Kurt Busch takes the lead.

Lap 78 -- Leaders hit pit road:
• Carl Edwards gets two right tires and is out in 9.3 seconds
• Kyle Busch gets four tires and fuel in 14.9
• Matt Kenseth gets four tires and fuel
• Denny Hamlin gets four tires but loses five spots
• Casey Mears gains eight positions and is out third
• Kurt Busch wins the race off pit road

Lap 77 -- Ken Schrader gets the free pass. He hits pit road for tires and adjustments.

Lap 76 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Kyle Petty spins around in Turn 2 but makes no contact with the wall. Ken Schrader was loose and made contact with Petty in the middle of the corner.

Lap 73 -- Matt Kenseth pulls beside Denny Hamlin and fights side-by-side for the lead.

Lap 71 -- Jeff Burton continues to struggle with a slow car and is running 36th.

Lap 66 -- Pole-sitter Jimmie Johnson is back in ninth position behind teammate Jeff Gordon, who started 27th.

Lap 59 -- GREEN FLAG: Denny Hamlin gets the race back under way.

Lap 54 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Debris is on the racetrack. Jeff Burton had just gone a lap down, but will now get the free pass. "I just can't drive it," he said to his crew. "We've got to do something. It's freakin' out of control."

Lap 52 -- Jeff Gordon has cracked the top 10 and is running eighth following his starting spot in 27th and an early pit stop.

Lap 47 -- After starting 41st, Robby Gordon has moved up to 17th.

Lap 43 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth moves by Denny Hamlin and takes command of the race.

Lap 35 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. has worked his way to ninth position after starting back in 21st.

Lap 27 -- Matt Kenseth goes below Jimmie Johnson to take second position.

Lap 24 -- GREEN FLAG: Denny Hamlin heads to the line to get the race going again.

Lap 14 -- Cars from 18th on back make pit stops. Tony Stewart bumps Paul Menard several times on pit road, then hits the side of his car as they leave pit road. Stewart was upset he was blocked in his stall by Menard.

Lap 14 -- A.J. Allmendinger has taken his car to the garage after problems early in the race.

Lap 12 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Johnny Sauter slaps the wall hard on the inside after getting tagged by David Gilliland coming off of Turn 4.

Lap 10 -- After starting second and fading quickly in the opening laps while running the top groove, Juan Montoya has finally settled into the ninth position.

Lap 2 -- LEAD CHANGE: Denny Hamlin gets Jimmie Johnson loose and slips below to take the point.

Lap 1 -- Jimmie Johnson keeps the low line and leads everyone on the first lap. Denny Hamlin takes second.

1:47 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson and Juan Montoya get the Dodge Dealers 400 under way at Dover.

1:43 p.m. -- Cars are rolling onto the track. A.J. Allmendinger heads to the back due to an engine change.

1:38 p.m. -- Dodge chairman Bob Nardelli delivers the command: "NASCAR fans, join me ... in delivering the greatest words in sports today ... Gentlemen, start your engines!"

1:31 p.m. -- Julienne Irwin, a finalist from America's Got Talent, sings the national anthem.

1:30 p.m. -- Rev. Dan Schafer delivers the invocation.
