Lap 174 -- Greg Biffle to the outside challenging Kevin Harvick for the lead. Tony Stewart's tire rub looks like it has gone away.

Lap 167 -- Looks like Tony Stewart should have pitted as right on the restart his tire starts rubbing creating a bunch of smoke.

Lap 166 -- GREEN FLAG: Kevin Harvick brings the field to the green.

Lap 165 -- Jeff Gordon is back on pit road topping off on fuel.

Lap 163 -- Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards and Kurt Busch among the cars hitting pit road. Gordon adds a spring rubber and makes an air pressure adjustment.

Lap 161 -- Tony Stewart has some left front damage that could be causing a tire rub. It doesn't look like Stewart will pit though.

Lap 158 -- Matt Kenseth is on pit road trying to make repairs before going a lap down. Kenseth has heavy damage on both sides of his car. Martin Truex Jr. has taken his car to the garage.

Lap 157 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kevin Harvick takes the lead after Tony Stewart gets involved in the crash.

Lap 157 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 9: Big crash on the restart collecting Bobby Labonte, Martin Truex Jr., Matt Kenseth, David Gilliland, David Reutimann and Ken Schrader. Tony Stewart bumped Truex but otherwise escaped the wreck.

Lap 156 -- GREEN FLAG: Tony Stewart brings the field to the green.

4. Dale Earnhardt Jr.
5. Reed Sorenson

Lap 155 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Petty hits pit road giving the lead back to Tony Stewart. Clint Bowyer is having radio issues and they are having to adjust.

Lap 153 -- Ryan Newman is the only car off the track. 42 cars are racing after all the delays.

Lap 151 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Petty stays out to lead a lap and get five bonus points.

Lap 150 -- Pit road is open and some cars come in.
• Tony Stewart fills it up with gas and takes four tires
• Dale Earnhardt Jr. fills it with fuel and takes four tires
• Kevin Harvick with four tires and no adjustments

Lap 149 -- YELLOW FLAG: The race is back under caution and the cars are off pit road. NASCAR announced the race will run until Lap 225 because of darkness.

7:07 p.m. -- The engines are started and NASCAR says they will open pit road immediately which will help Tony Stewart and the rest of the cars who didn't pit.

6:59 p.m. -- The drivers are being called to their cars and the race should get started momentarily.

6:49 p.m. -- Crew chiefs are now allowed to go to their cars and make sure they are ready to race. The sky is blue, it's not raining and racing for the sunset will get under way soon.

6:16 p.m. -- NASCAR is saying as long as no more rain falls, it should take about an hour to dry the track and get the race started again. Sunset in Kansas is around 7:05 p.m. local time which means they could get about an hour of racing in before it gets too dark.

5:55 p.m. -- TV coverage is switching from ABC to ESPN2 at 6 p.m. ET.

5:50 p.m. -- The sun is coming out at Kansas and officials think they can get the track completely dry rather quickly.

5:26 p.m. -- Service trucks are on the track as track drying efforts have started.

4:57 p.m. -- The sky has completely opened up and if they can go green again, it will be a while.

Lap 149 -- RED FLAG: The race is halted for rain and the fans were told to find shelter.

Lap 148 -- The top five if the race is stopped for rain:
1. Tony Stewart
2. Greg Biffle
3. Kevin Harvick
4. Clint Bowyer
5. Reed Sorenson

Lap 148 -- Kurt Busch, Matt Kenseth, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex Jr. are all scored a lap down after making their stops during the green.

Lap 147 -- Tony Stewart now needs to nurse his car around the track and save as much fuel as possible.

Lap 146 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 8: Lightning was seen right behind the track and the race is being slowed down due to weather.
