Lap 24 -- Tony Stewart all the way up to fourth.

Lap 19 -- GREEN FLAG: Matt Kenseth gets the race back under way.

Lap 18 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth is back out front after Dave Blaney, Kyle Petty and Ken Schrader all hit pit road. Jeff Burton will be sent to the tail end of the longest line because Burton tried to fix his car during the red flag.
Lap 16 -- YELLOW FLAG: The cars are off pit road and the race is back under caution.
3:15 p.m. -- The engines have been fired and we should be racing soon.
3:06 p.m. -- The covers are coming off the cars and the drivers are strapping in.
3:02 p.m. -- The drivers have been told they are about 20 minutes away from getting back in their cars.
Lap 16 -- RED FLAG: Rain is starting to come down a little harder so the race has been stopped to allow the track to dry.
Lap 14 -- LEAD CHANGE: Dave Blaney stayed out to lead a lap and get five bonus points. Kyle Petty and Ken Schrader also stayed out as all three are battling to stay in the top 35 in points.
Lap 13 -- Most of the cars made a pitstop under this caution and Matt Kenseth won the race off pit road.
Lap 12 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: It has started raining at Kansas Speedway bringing out the caution.
Lap 10 -- Scott Riggs is complaining he is very loose and has fallen from first to ninth.
Lap 8 -- Jimmie Johnson is up to 34th after starting 43rd.
Lap 7 -- Kurt Busch gets around Dale Earnhardt Jr. for fourth.
Lap 5 -- Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon run 1-2. Kyle Busch around Dale Earnhardt Jr. for third.
Lap 3 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. makes some room and moves up to third.

2:15 p.m. -- Jimmie Johnson moves from the pole to 43rd due to his crash during Happy Hour yesterday.
2:07 p.m. -- Apollo 13 astronaut Jim Lovell delivers the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines."
2:04 p.m. -- Weather could play a part in today's race. The track is under a severe thunderstorm watch with winds gusting around 30 mph and dark clouds all around.
2:01 p.m. -- Gavin DeGraw performs the national anthem.
2 p.m. -- Cole Cochran delivers the Invocation.
1 p.m. -- NASCAR Countdown has started on ABC.
