Lap 280 -- Leaders are pitting:
• Jeff Gordon gets four tires and fuel
• Jeff Burton may have a shifter problem; four tires
• Clint Bowyer gets four tires but loses three spots
• Kurt Busch has the hood up
• Kyle Busch wins the race off pit road, gaining three spots

Lap 279 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 13: Scott Riggs and Juan Montoya crash in Turn 2. A tire blew on Montoya's car, sending him into Riggs and the wall. Riggs has major damage to the front of his car. Montoya also his front damage.

Lap 277 -- Kurt Busch pits for four tires and fuel. His team cannot go under the hood because of green-flag conditions.

Lap 276 -- Jamie McMurray is on pit road to begin green-flag stops. He was running eighth. Four tires for McMurray, but he cannot make it to the end.

Lap 275 -- Kurt Busch and his crew think the car has lost a cylinder. He is running fifth.

Lap 273 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Gordon moves around Clint Bowyer for the lead.

Lap 272 -- Jeff Gordon catches Clint Bowyer and crosses the line beside him.

Lap 270 -- It appeared Ryan Newman was catching leader Clint Bowyer, but Jeff Gordon moves by Newman to take second.

Lap 262 -- Tony Raines heads down pit road for an unscheduled stop. His car is spewing water out the hood due to debris stuck on the front.

Lap 255 -- Kurt Busch has the fastest car on the track and has made it back to the top five.

Lap 246 -- Jeff Gordon gets around Scott Riggs for third.

Lap 244 -- Ryan Newman catches Scott Riggs and takes second position.

Lap 236 -- LEAD CHANGE: Clint Bowyer gets the top spot back.

Lap 235 -- LEAD CHANGE: Scott Riggs moves by Clint Bowyer to lead.

Lap 234 -- GREEN FLAG: Clint Bowyer gets the field going again with 100 laps to go.

Lap 232 -- NASCAR is throwing a quickie yellow and pit road is open for everyone. Jimmie Johnson is in to repair damage.

Lap 231 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 12: Jimmie Johnson spins coming off Turn 2 and down the backstretch. He was running 11th. He has damage on the right-rear fender.

Lap 227 -- GREEN FLAG: Clint Bowyer leads the field to the line.

Lap 225 -- LEAD CHANGE: Clint Bowyer wins the race off pit road and takes the lead.

Lap 224 -- Leaders hit pit road:

• Jeff Gordon gets two tires
• Clint Bowyer gets fuel only
• Kurt Busch gains 10 spots and is out seventh
• Scott Riggs has a quick stop and is out second

Lap 223 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 11: Matt Kenseth crashes for a third time in Turn 2. He smacks the wall again, adding more damage to his car. He heads to the garage.

Lap 219 -- David Gilliland gets around Jamie McMurray and now runs third.

Lap 214 -- GREEN FLAG: Jeff Gordon gets the race back under way.

Lap 213 -- LEAD CHANGE: Michael Waltrip pits and gives the lead to Jeff Gordon. Tony Stewart is back on pit road.

Lap 212 -- LEAD CHANGE: Michael Waltrip, despite spinning in the yellow, gets credit for leading the lap.

Lap 211 -- Pit road is open:
• Jamie McMurray gets right-side tires
• Jimmie Johnson gets fuel and four tires
• Denny Hamlin gets out quickly with fuel

Lap 208 -- Pit road is closed, but Tony Stewart stops to get front damage repaired. His penalty will be to start at the rear of the longest line.

Lap 206 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 10: Michael Waltrip, John Andretti and Matt Kenseth crash across the start/finish line. Waltrip spun off Turn 4, and reaction sent Andretti and Kenseth spinning behind Waltrip. Andretti has heavy front-end damage, while Kenseth's rear is damaged.

Lap 197 -- After the pit-road damage, Kurt Busch is now running 24th.
