Lap 337 -- CHECKERED FLAG: Jeff Gordon holds on and wins the Bank of America 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Lap 336 -- Jeff Gordon takes the white flag as the leader.

Lap 335 -- GREEN FLAG: Jeff Gordon gets the race going again.

Lap 334 -- There will be a green-white-checkered finish. Jeff Gordon and teammate Kyle Busch (third) are running on the apron with fears of being out of fuel.

Lap 333 -- NASCAR is having a quickie caution. Jimmie Johnson is on pit road for fuel and tires.

Lap 331 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Gordon becomes the leader after Ryan Newman crashes. But Gordon is afraid he may be out of gas because his car is sputtering.

Lap 331 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 15: Leader Ryan Newman spins out in Turn 2 and slams the wall.

Lap 329 -- LEAD CHANGE: Ryan Newman flies by leaders Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch. Gordon apparently had issues on the restart and Busch got stuck behind him.

Lap 329 -- GREEN FLAG: Jeff Gordon gets the race back under way.

Lap 326 -- Denny Hamlin is on pit road. His car is stuck in high gear.

Lap 325 -- Pit road is open for a quickie yellow. A handful of lead-lap cars come in for tires, including Kurt Busch, Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Lap 324 -- YELLOW FLAG (11:41 p.m. ET): Cars are rolling again after cleaning the speedway.

Lap 324 -- RED FLAG (11:30 p.m. ET): NASCAR has stopped the race to clean the oil spilt all over the track.

Lap 324 -- Denny Hamlin heads to pit road although it is closed. He has a problem and was being pushed at one time by teammate J.J. Yeley.

Lap 323 -- Jeff Green hits pit road. His car was spitting fluid on the track and may have resulted in Johnny Sauter's spin.

Lap 321 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 14: Johnny Sauter spins coming off Turn 4. As he spins, Bobby Labonte and Jeff Green slow.

Lap 312 -- Jimmie Johnson has rebounded and now runs eighth.

Lap 308 -- Kyle Busch catches Clint Bowyer and runs side-by-side before finally taking the position.

Lap 300 -- Jeff Gordon keeps turning the fastest laps and now leads Clint Bowyer by 4.017 seconds.

Lap 293 -- Clint Bowyer makes work of Ryan Newman for second and sets his sights on leader Jeff Gordon.

Lap 288 -- Clint Bowyer quickly passes Kyle Busch for third.

Lap 287 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Burton move around Bobby Labonte to take fourth and fifth.

Lap 284 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Gordon drives below Kyle Busch to take the top spot.
