Nationwide has agreed to a deal that will make it the official insurance of Kentucky Speedway, which is a venue for races in the Nationwide and Craftsman Truck series.

| TV | ESPN2, 8 p.m. ET |
| Radio | MRN (Sirius Ch. 28), 8:30 p.m. ET |
The three-year deal will give Nationwide a "home" race of sorts, allowing the company a major hospitality opportunity because of the track's proximity to Nationwide's headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Kentucky Speedway is located in Sparta, Ky., near Cincinnati, several hours from Columbus.
The speedway also hosts IndyCar Series and ARCA races and a monster truck event.
The Meijer 300 Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway is June 14.
Part of the deal includes about 1,500 race tickets that Nationwide will use for its associates and guests. Financial terms of the deal were not available.
Nationwide, in its first year as title sponsor of NASCAR's No. 2 series, already has a track deal with Speedway Motorsports Inc., which runs through 2009, and has begun negotiations with International Speedway Corp. about an official status deal at ISC-owned tracks. AAA currently owns that status at ISC but has said it will not renew at the end of this season.
Nationwide will have track signage and ad space in the event program for the IndyCar Series weekend on Aug. 8-9, as well.
