It's NASCAR's version of Monster trucks this week as the Craftsman Truck Series tackles Dover International Speedway for the ninth time in the form of the AAA Insurance 200 (5 p.m. ET, MRN; 8 p.m. ET, SPEED, delayed). The first eight races have produced eight different winners.

The Truck Series has celebrated first-time winners the past two weeks -- Matt Crafton and Donny Lia. It took Crafton 178 races to get his first victory; Lia needed only eight starts. It's been all or nothing for Crafton at Dover (see below) whereas Lia has never made a start on the concrete mile oval.

Two other winners in 2008 have also won at Dover -- Kyle Busch and Ron Hornaday, the defending race winner. In fact, Hornaday is the king of concrete (read more).

1Times the Dover pole-sitter failed to finish in the top 10: Carl Edwards finished 14th in 2004. The average finish of the other pole-sitters is 3.86 with wins by Kurt Busch and Scott Riggs.
2Drivers to post their first career win at Dover: Jason Leffler (2003) and Chad Chaffin (2004). The victory represents Leffler's only win in the Truck Series. Chaffin has two career victories, both coming in '04.
3Drivers to win in their first start at Dover: Kurt Busch (2000), Kyle Busch (2005) and Mark Martin (2006). Kurt Busch made only the one start at Dover, racing a full schedule before moving to Cup in 2001. Kyle Busch won in Billy Ballew's No. 15 truck. For Martin, it was one of a series-high six wins in '06.
4Average place of finish for Ron Hornaday in three starts at Dover. Hornaday led a race-high 134 laps in finishing fourth in 2005; he led the most laps (91) last year in winning. The 225 laps led are the most in track history. Hornaday finished seventh in 2006.
5Top-10s in eight starts at Dover for Rick Crawford, most of any driver. Crawford's 14th-place finish in 2001 represented his worst until last year when he was 23rd. They mark the only two times he has failed to finish on the lead lap. His six lead-lap finishes also are the most of any driver.
6Races won from a top-10 starting position. It wasn't until Mark Martin (13th) won in 2006 that the winner didn't start in the top 10. Ron Hornaday started 15th last year, the farthest back of any winner.
7Career starts at Dover for Matt Crafton, who has three lead-lap finishes and four DNFs (two crashes, two engines). Crafton has twice finished ninth in the No. 88 Chevrolet of ThorSport Racing and was 15th the other time he finished on the lead lap. Of the two engine failures, only one was in the No. 88, last year when he finished 26th, which is his average in the four DNFs.
8Drivers with multiple top-fives at Dover: Rick Crawford and Mike Bliss (three each); Ron Hornaday, Ted Musgrave, David Starr, Travis Kvapil, David Reutimann and Ken Schrader (two each). Hornaday (2007) and Musgrave (2002) are the only drivers of the group with wins. Crawford has a runner-up and two third-place finishes.
9Best finish at Dover for Dennis Setzer, who has just two lead-lap finishes in eight races. Setzer placed ninth in the first race at Dover in 2000, despite finishing one lap off the pace. He also finished ninth in 2003, the first time he ended the race on the lead lap. Still, Setzer leads all drivers in laps completed with 1,592.
10Lead changes, among five drivers, in the 2006 race at Dover, which set a track record for speed (120.200 mph). Seventeen drivers finished on the lead lap and there was only one DNF, both track bests. Only two other races have had an average speed in excess of 100 mph; last year's race was the second-fastest at 107.463. Both the 2006 and '07 races had a track-low four cautions.
