He also finished ninth in 2003, the first time he ended the race on the lead lap. Still, Setzer leads all drivers in laps completed with 1,592.

Seventeen drivers finished on the lead lap and there was only one DNF, both track bests. Only two other races have had an average speed in excess of 100 mph; last year's race was the second-fastest at 107.463. Both the 2006 and '07 races had a track-low four cautions.
