MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Fitz Motorsports announced that Kenny Wallace will drive a second car for the team in the Nationwide Series in 2008.

Following its successful 2007 season, Fitz Motorsports was eager to field a second car alongside Mike Bliss in the No. 22 Dodge. After much consideration, the organization decided to bring Wallace on board to fill the seat.

"Kenny is a great guy who has multiple wins in the Nationwide Series and we are very excited to have him drive for us this year," owner Armando Fitz said. "We have a great sponsor lined up and we are looking forward to what we can do with two cars on the track this year. I think it will be very beneficial to our entire team."

Wallace has nine wins in series competition and will enter the 2008 season with 384 starts, 16 shy of 400. He could join only two other drivers who have accomplished the feat; all-time starts leader Jason Keller (422) and recent NMPA Hall of Fame inductee Tommy Houston (417).

An official announcement will be made prior to Daytona to reveal the sponsor, car number, and crew chief.
