David Stremme hasn't finished worse than 12th since Texas in April.

David Stremme has had a quiet, consistent Nationwide season thus far. He's ninth in the point standings, has four top-five finishes, including two runner-up showings, and nine top-10s driving for Rusty Wallace. He hasn't finished outside of the top 12 since the Texas event April 5.

Still seeking his first series win, Stremme has four starts at The Milwaukee Mile, site of this weekend's Camping World RV Rental 250 (8 p.m. ET, ESPN2). He has three top-fives, with a best showing of second.

"This is what we've got to do, be consistent each week, keep jumping at them, and we'll get us one here soon," Stremme said.

And then, there's Joey Logano.

Logano has been tearing up the track and stealing headlines from guys like Stremme since he turned 18 nearly one month ago. In just three starts Logano has two top-10 finishes, two poles and a win, which he scored last weekend in Kentucky, making him the youngest driver to ever win a Nationwide event at just 18 years and 21 days.

"I expected to win Dover [his first start], but didn't know if that was realistic," Logano said. "It was cool to get our first win here in the third start. Obviously, I was getting in one of the best cars out there that has won seven races. I have to win races. It's not even an option."

With speculation aplenty surrounding the future of Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Tony Stewart and fresh on the heels of his quick visit to Victory Lane, many expect to see Logano make a quick study of the Nationwide Series before moving to Sprint Cup competition. But Logano says as long as he's behind the wheel of a racecar, he's happy.

"I'm not even thinking about that [driving a Cup car] right now," Logano said. "When Joe and J.D. [Gibbs] feel that I'm ready to go, then I'll think about that then. Until then, I'm just concentrating on what I need to do to keep running up front here in the Nationwide Series."

With momentum and confidence on his side, Logano's competitors must try to figure out how to stop the youngster this week, but it won't be easy -- especially since he knows the Milwaukee track.

"I've tested at Milwaukee before a really long time ago in a Sprint Cup car," Logano said. "I also raced there in the ASA Series when I was 14 years old. In the ASA race, we were fast and had a chance to win before we broke an upper A-arm and dropped out of the race. It's a fun place and you'll see some passing. It's a short track but you still have a little bit of speed, too."

This weekend Logano will pilot the No. 20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. Last season, the 20 car was the class of the field at Milwaukee -- no matter who was driving it. Aric Almirola won the pole and led a portion of the event before being pulled from the car in order for Denny Hamlin to take over after his arrival from Sonoma, Calif. Hamlin took the checkered flag, but Almirola was credited with the victory.
