CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The NASCAR Hall of Fame invites fans downtown on Friday to celebrate the launch of the NASCAR Hall of Fame Commemorative Brick Program -- and the presentation of the first Commemorative Bricks marking the careers of Richard Petty, Dale Inman, Ned Jarrett, Bobby Allison, Benny Parsons, Rusty Wallace, Ray Evernham and Greg Biffle, among others.

Hall of Fame

The Superstore has a wide variety of Hall of Fame merchandise available now for fans of all ages.

The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. ET at the Charlotte Convention Center Plaza, 501 S. College St.

Beginning Friday, fans and Charlotte community members will be able to help lay the foundation for the NASCAR Hall of Fame with a personalized brick that celebrates their memories of the sport and recognizes their favorite drivers, champions, stars and races.

The bricks are available on a limited basis while supplies last and installation will be completed in time for the NASCAR Hall of Fame's grand opening in the Spring 2010.

The event also will showcase the presentation of the first significant artifact for the NASCAR Hall of Fame's collection of historical memorabilia.
