"Travis has had so much success in the Truck Series over the years, and he will be a great asset in helping our two younger drivers learn the program," team owner Jack Roush said. "Bobby and John Wes both have a tremendous amount of potential and I look for them to run well in their respective events."
Kvapil finished seventh in his first race in the No. 09 at California. In 122 starts, he has nine wins, 48 top-five finishes and 77 top-10s. He won the series championship in 2003. His 11-race Truck Series schedule is in addition to his full-time Sprint Cup schedule with Yates Racing.
East has made 24 starts in the Truck Series, and 11 starts in the Nationwide Series during the past three years. His best finish to date in the Truck Series is an 11th-place run at ORP in 2006.
In addition to his six truck races this season, Townley will run the full schedule in the ARCA RE/MAX Series for RAB Racing. He finished 11th in the season opener at Daytona.
