Lap 266 -- WHITE FLAG: Carl Edwards passes Jimmie Johnson on the inside for the lead but can't make it stick. Edwards slides up the track and into the wall as Johnson goes back around him for the lead coming out of Turn 4 to the flag.
Lap 265 -- Carl Edwards has caught Jimmie Johnson and is on his bumper.
Lap 263 -- Working through slow traffic didn't slow Jimmie Johnson, and the margin between him and Carl Edwards is now 0.873 seconds.
Lap 260 -- With seven laps to go, Carl Edwards trails Jimmie Johnson by less than a second with even lap times.
Lap 256 -- Michael Waltrip is on the apron with a blown left-front tire. The debris from the car is out of the racing groove -- no caution.
Lap 255 -- Jimmie Johnson leads Carl Edwards by 1.012 seconds.
Lap 251 -- Greg Biffle is struggling with his racecar's handling, but he still runs fourth.

Lap 231 -- Martin Truex Jr. comes to pit road and his crew reaches in to try and fix a broken shifter. Meanwhile, Marcos Ambrose slows on the track after hitting the wall.
Lap 230 -- Martin Truex Jr. is off the pace and gets out of the way on the restart.

Lap 226 -- Michael Waltrip is on pit road to repair damage on the left-front fender and right side. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jamie McMurray make pit stops for tires.
Lap 225 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 7: Michael Waltrip spins coming off Turn 4 with some right-side damage and left-front fender damage. David Ragan touched Waltrip, sending him into Sam Hornish Jr. and spinning down the track.
Lap 222 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson gets the race back under way.

Lap 218 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 6: Debris is on the track from Travis Kvapil hitting the wall.
Lap 218 -- RCR drivers run fifth (Jeff Burton), sixth (Clint Bowyer) and seventh (Kevin Harvick).
Lap 206 -- The three Joe Gibbs Racing cars in the Chase are the only cars not running in the top 10: Denny Hamlin (14th), Kyle Busch (32nd) and Tony Stewart (41st).
Lap 201 -- Martin Truex Jr. is battling a loose racecar. He runs in sixth, the only car in the top 10 that is not a Chase driver.
Lap 196 -- Tony Stewart is back on the track after a long pit stop to repair his splitter. He loses five laps and runs in 41st.
Lap 190 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards makes the pass stick and takes the lead from Jimmie Johnson. At the same time, Tony Stewart goes a lap down and dives onto pit road to fix his splitter, which is missing multiple braces.
Lap 189 -- Carl Edwards has caught Jimmie Johnson and the two battle side-by-side for the lead. Johnson leads at the line.
Lap 186 -- Paul Menard gives up third to make his pit stop. He is on a different cycle than the leaders.
Lap 184 -- Jimmie Johnson leads by 1.475 seconds after pit stops.

Lap 179 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards is in for his stop and gets a chassis adjustment. Teammate Greg Biffle is in and gets four tires and a wedge adjustment. Brian Vickers is the new leader.
Lap 178 -- Jimmie Johnson is tight in the center of the turns and gets a chassis adjustment. Jeff Gordon, Mark Martin and Casey Mears are also on pit road. Clint Bowyer joins them.
Lap 177 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards takes the lead, then Jimmie Johnson dips onto pit road.
Lap 175 -- Carl Edwards runs down and catches Jimmie Johnson as they work through slow traffic
Lap 165 -- Jimmie Johnson leads Carl Edwards by 3.285 seconds.
Lap 161 -- Kyle Busch and Tony Stewart run in 32nd and 33rd, respectively, and are the only Chase drivers outside the top 15.
Lap 154 -- Carl Edwards is running in third after passing teammate Greg Biffle.
Lap 149 -- Four of the five Roush Fenway Racing cars are in the top 12. The fifth car is Matt Kenseth in 16th.
Lap 140 -- Eight of the top 10 drivers are Chase competitors. The other two are Martin Truex Jr. (second) and Casey Mears (10th).
Lap 136 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson drives below Martin Truex Jr. to take the lead once again.
Lap 134 -- Clint Bowyer and Jeff Gordon battle hard for fourth position. Gordon nudges Bowyer and eventually passes him on the high side.
Lap 133 -- GREEN FLAG: Martin Truex Jr. gets the race going again.

Lap 130 -- Tony Stewart comes to pit road for tires and to remove the grass from his front end. Cars near the back of the pack also come in to get tires and fuel.
Lap 129 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 5: Tony Stewart spins coming off Turn 4 after making contact with Brian Vickers and slides through the infield grass. He drives away with grass on the front of his car.
Lap 126 -- GREEN FLAG: Martin Truex Jr. leads the field to green.

Lap 78 -- LEAD CHANGE: Casey Mears takes the lead when Denny Hamlin pits. Matt Kenseth is back on pit road to top off with fuel.
Lap 77 -- LEAD CHANGE: Denny Hamlin takes the lead under caution. Matt Kenseth comes back onto pit road to fix the lug nut. Carl Edwards is also on pit road to check the right-front fender damage.
Lap 76 -- Matt Kenseth came out of the pits with the lead, but has a loose lug nut and will have to return to pit road.
Lap 75 -- Leaders head to pit road:
Martin Truex Jr. gets tires and an air-pressure adjustment
Casey Mears gets a track-bar adjustment and tires
Matt Kenseth gets minor changes and a full tank

Lap 74 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Debris is on the track from Ryan Newman sliding into the wall.
Lap 72 -- Kyle Busch's car is beginning to come back to him. He's still in 34th, but the team thinks something may have been stuck in the engine and burned off.
Lap 70 -- Jimmie Johnson moves by Martin Truex Jr. for second place. Truex asked his crew for no changes during his last pit stop, but now says the car is loose.
Lap 66 -- Greg Biffle moves into seventh place after passing Brian Vickers.
Lap 60 -- A.J. Allmendinger is having a strong run and is up to sixth after green-flag pit stops.
Lap 56 -- Matt Kenseth leads after pit stops.

Lap 54 -- Bill Elliott and Sam Hornish Jr. get black-flagged for speeding on pit road.
Lap 53 -- LEAD CHANGE: Kyle Busch pulls in to make his pit stop, giving the lead to Matt Kenseth. Busch is going to ride out his problems. If he gets a caution, the team plans to change the carburetor.
Lap 52 -- LEAD CHANGE: Michael Waltrip makes his pit stop. Kyle Busch stays on the track and inherits the lead.
Lap 51 -- LEAD CHANGE: Martin Truex Jr. makes his stop and gets four tires. Jeff Gordon is also in for his stop, and he's staying in the car due to his illness. Dale Earnhardt Jr. is in. Michael Waltrip leads.
Lap 50 -- Carl Edwards and Casey Mears are on pit road. Edwards gets a track-bar adjustment, but as he exits he gets cut off by Brian Vickers when Vickers pulls into his stall. Edwards backs up and leaves.
Lap 49 -- Matt Kenseth and Jimmie Johnson are on pit road for scheduled pit stops. Kenseth gets an air-pressure adjustment. Johnson gets four tires and minimal adjustments.
Lap 42 -- LEAD CHANGE: Martin Truex Jr. catches and passes Matt Kenseth to take the top spot.
Lap 34 -- Kyle Busch is off the pace and reports trouble. He has faded to 36th position.
Lap 29 -- Martin Truex Jr. slips around Jimmie Johnson to take the second position.
Lap 24 -- Kyle Busch is telling his crew there may be something wrong with the car. He is currently running in 27th and losing positions.
Lap 22 -- Eight of the 12 Chase drivers are currently running between 13th and 31st.
Lap 16 -- LEAD CHANGE: Matt Kenseth passes Jimmie Johnson and pulls away with the lead.
Lap 14 -- Jeff Gordon is running eighth after starting 13th. Gordon is sick today and has Brad Keselowski on standby as a backup driver.
Lap 9 -- Tony Stewart has moved from his 41st starting position up to 27th.
Lap 6 -- Clint Bowyer is still on the lead lap, but is barely holding on just in front of leader Jimmie Johnson.
Lap 2 -- Clint Bowyer slows and pulls down pit road for his pass-through penalty.
Lap 1 -- Jimmie Johnson leads the first lap, but Clint Bowyer is being black-flagged for passing before the green flag. He will have to come down pit road for his penalty.
2:20 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson and Mark Martin get the Camping World RV 400 under way.
2:18 p.m. -- Jeff Burton will start at the rear of the field due to an equipment change on pit road.
2:14 p.m. -- Cars are rolling onto the track. Jeff Burton is still stuck on pit road with a crew member changing out his tachometer at NASCAR's approval.
2:09 p.m. -- Grand marshal Kurt Hunt delivers the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines!"
