Whether on the track or off, many NASCAR drivers love owning, building, upgrading and driving high-performance cars of all makes and models -- and they occasionally enjoy showing them off, too! In this week's NASCAR Hot Rods, we pay a visit to driver of the No. 66 USfidelis/5-Hour Energy Chevrolet Steven Wallace as he takes us on a tour of his personal pride and joy: a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

In his third full year of Nationwide Series competition, Steven Wallace is one of NASCAR's most promising, well-pedigreed young talents poised for a true breakout season in 2009.

On Saturdays you see him pilot the No 66 USfidelis/5-Hour Energy Chevrolet around the track, but back in his hometown of Mooresville, N.C., Wallace wheels a Chevy of a different kind.

Meet Steven's personal ride: a bright red 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, equipped with a 10-foot lift suspension and 38-inch Mud Slinger tires.

"I bought it from a local dealer, Randy Marion Chevrolet, here in my hometown and had a local truck and trailer supply and service company, Carolina Hitch, trick it out with accessories," Wallace said.

The truck also features a brush guard and under-hood snorkel, which allows Wallace and friends to do a bit of off-roading and jumping.

The air he catches would make the guys of Dukes of Hazard jealous.

"We've been known to get some good air," Wallace quipped. "We've jumped the truck about five to seven feet."

Thank goodness Wallace has a nice stock of 5-Hour Energy in the glovebox to keep wheeling around town. The "Hermenator" decal as a tribute to Uncle Kenny Wallace on the back window seems fitting just as well.

Impressed yet? Just wait.

To top off the tricked out truck, Wallace had five train-style, earth-rattling, bell-ringing locomotive horns with a 10-gallon compressor installed. We're completely confident you can hear it eight miles away. It's all the rage these days. Celebrities like lightweight boxer Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, Billy Mays and even Terry Bollea (aka, Hulk Hogan) are also hooked on the new train-horn phenomenon.

"I absolutely love this truck," Wallace said showing it off in the parking lot of Rusty Wallace Racing Inc. "It's really a lot of fun."
