This week's race at Dover International Speedway is a big departure from tracks like we've seen recently. The one-mile concrete oval has come to be known as the "Monster Mile" over the years by the fans and drivers both, and for good reason. The side-by-side short track style racing coupled with the high speeds that the cars can attain in this steeply-banked mixing bowl is tough on the equipment and drivers alike. It can sometimes be a battle for survival against both the track and the other drivers in order to win this 400-mile bruise-fest. This will be the first of two races at Dover this season, and we should be able to look towards recent stats at the Dover oval and at some of the short track results this season to evaluate drivers for this event. Hot streaks aside, this facility is unique enough to produce a few surprises in our driver list. The following is our weekly power ranking for the Autism Speaks 400 at Dover International Speedway.
Top Fantasy Racing Drivers for Dover
1. Greg Biffle
The consistency of the No. 16 team has been very good this season. We've been awaiting Biffle's first win and it could likely happen this Sunday at Dover. He's a two-time winner at the Monster Mile, and as recently as last fall. When Biffle isn't visiting Victory Lane at the one-mile oval, he's a regular face in the top five.
2. Carl Edwards
With his top-five finish at Charlotte last weekend, it appears that the recent struggles of the No. 99 team could be coming to an end. Concrete Carl will love to follow up that effort at this weekend's venue. Dover International Speedway has been a favorite of Edwards through his entire Cup Series career. In his last five races at Dover, he's collected one win and not finished outside of the top three.
3. Matt Kenseth
Rounding out the Roush Fenway Racing trifecta in this week's power ranking is Kenseth. The No. 17 has been coming on in recent races and they'll be more than happy to visit Dover this Sunday. Kenseth has one win and four top-fives in his last six visits to the one-mile oval.

Mike Bell likes all the Roush Fenway drivers this weekend at Dover, but thinks 'duck power' will propel Carl Edwards to Victory Lane.
4. Jeff Gordon
While Gordon has his better tracks on the Cup circuit, we still have to give him his due at Dover. He owns four career victories at the Monster Mile and he boasts a stellar 62 percent top-10 rate at the concrete oval. While it's not likely that Gordon will win this week's race, he should easily forge a top-10 finish at the end of 400 miles.
5. Mark Martin
Few tracks have been as good to Martin over the years at Dover International Speedway. He has four career poles and four victories at the facility. One of those wins was as recent as 2004, while driving for owner Jack Roush. Martin returns this weekend with what will be one of his best cars that he's run at the Monster Mile in a long time.
6. Kyle Busch
Despite his recent performance, Busch slides down this week's power ranking a few notches. Much of the reason is due to his feast or famine results at Dover International Speedway. He won this event one year ago, but he returned in the fall and succumbed to an engine failure and finished last. That's the gamble this week with Busch -- he's a driver who can either win the race or finish outside the top 20 if the breaks don't go his way.
7. Jimmie Johnson
The three time Cup champion has his weaknesses and the Monster Mile is one of them. Still, he makes a solid fantasy play with some upside. Johnson is a three-time Dover winner, but his recent numbers at the one-mile oval have left something to be desired. With only three top-10s in his last six visits to Dover, you can see the reason for the downgrade.

8. Ryan Newman
The No. 39 team has been solid gold in recent weeks. Newman is coming off a runner-up finish at Charlotte and this week he'll sink his teeth into the Monster Mile. He has four career poles and three victories at the one-mile oval. With the recent performance of this team, another top-five finish could be in order.
9. Jeff Burton
Dover International Speedway has been very good to Burton and his Richard Childress Racing team in recent seasons. He has one win and five top-10s in his last six visits to the Monster Mile. Right now the 15-year Cup veteran is running the best of the RCR stable, so he should forge another top-10 finish in the Autism Speaks 400.
10. Martin Truex Jr.
Truex breaks into this week's power ranking due to his good performances at Dover the last couple years. While the Earnhardt Ganassi Racing driver doesn't have the years of experience that the rest of the drivers in this ranking have, his six career visits to DIS have been quite productive. Truex's one victory and three top-10 finishes at the Monster Mile didn't happen by accident.
