Not many in the Cup garage can say they have had one-on-one time with past two presidents.

With the number of trips he has made to the White House in recent years, he might consider a bid for office.

Or by the company he keeps, his celebrity connections could help land the California native a part in a movie.

Anything seems possible when you're Jimmie Johnson.

But in reality he keeps his life rather simple -- date nights are usually on the couch, he loves to barbeque and he even hangs his own Christmas lights.

Here are Five Things About the three-time Cup Series champion.

Meeting President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama ...

Johnson loves his fans and one could have the opportunity to give him the trophy in Victory Lane.

"To have the experience to go up and meet President Bush and then to meet President Obama, it couldn't have been more different. Obama was much more conversational and you could see his charisma. He has great people skills and fun to connect with him. You almost felt like you could leave there and have a beer with the guy, which was interesting. He pointed out a photo on the wall of him and some friends sitting around a table having a beer, which was interesting to me too. He just seemed like a down-to-earth guy and regardless of your points of view on politics and which party you pulled for and voted for, he seemed like a great man and hopefully leads us in the right direction."

His last trip to Lowe's ...

"My last trip, personally, was during Christmas. We had pretty much bought every light they had for Christmas to hang on the house and to decorate the front yard. Hanging lights in our neighborhood is competitive and the competition requires you hanging them yourself. It was tough but I was home one cold rainy night and got it done. It was fun when it was over, but I kept getting one outlet that wouldn't carry the load and the breaker kept tripping over and over. It was a little bit like Christmas Vacation.

If he could put more hours in the day ...

"Then I would have more time to download music. I love music. Certain types resonate with me and bring back memories. I really enjoy listening to different artists but I don't have the time or patience to sit and research indie bands or new people. I'm embarrassed to say I only know and hear the mainstream stuff on the radio. I would love to have more time to download music."

A night on the back porch with Chandra is the perfect date night.

Connecting with his fans ...

"I've been fortunate to be a part of great programs that reward fans, especially Bank of America's 50 Days of NASCAR Race Points where fans might have an opportunity to be in Victory Lane for the Cup race in October to celebrate the 50th year of racing at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Fans can check it out at www.bankofamerica.com/50Days to learn about all the great prizes. But you know I have been fortunate enough to find myself in Victory Lane a number of times, but I've never had a fan actually present the trophy to me before. That would be pretty amazing."

His best date night ...

"Truthfully, it is sitting at home with my wife Chandra. And I love cooking, especially barbeque. So home on the back porch with my wife is my best date night. I love to cook for her. I can't cook gourmet meals but I'm good on the barbeque because I've essentially camped out my entire life, going from track to track in our motor home. We cook outside most of the time."
