No. 91 crew chief fined for violations at Darlington

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- NASCAR announced that Michael Allen, crew chief for the No. 91 Chevrolet driven by Terry Cook in the Nationwide Series, has been fined due to rule violations during Friday's event at Darlington Raceway.

Allen was fined $2,500 for violating Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing); 12-4-1 (any determination by NASCAR officials that the race equipment used in the event does not conform to NASCAR rules) and 20A-12.1A(10) (jacking bolt must be made of solid magnetic steel: hollow bolt) of the 2009 Nationwide Series rule book.

The infractions were discovered on May 7 during opening-day inspection.
