In 2009, only two drivers are eligible to end those streaks. But the past two two-driver rookie classes have done the sport proud. In 2005, rookie of the year Busch became the youngest (20) winner in Cup history. And in 2002, although he finished second to Newman, another up-and-coming driver won three times, the most of any rookie since. His name? Jimmie Johnson.
