STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Randy Moss Motorsports on Wednesday announced that Eric Phillips and Doug Wolcott will assume duties as crew chiefs for the team's two full-time Toyotas in the 2009 Camping World Truck Series season.
Doug Wolcott will serve as crew chief for rookie Tayler Malsam and the No. 81. Eric Phillips will be the crew chief for Mike Skinner, who will drive a familiar number in '09.

Randy Moss Motorsports has obtained the No. 5 for Skinner, who has driven that number since the end of the 2004 season.
Wolcott was formerly a crew chief at Bill Davis Racing, where he guided driver Scott Speed to a win at Dover in May 2008 and helped that truck to 11th place in the owners' standings with four different rookie drivers. Wolcott and Malsam first teamed together in the 2008 Truck Series season finale at Homestead and earned a 21st-place finish.
Phillips, a five-year veteran crew chief in the Truck Series, comes in-house. In 2004, Phillips led Travis Kvapil to Victory Lane at Michigan, recording Toyota's first NASCAR win. Phillips has won seven races in the series, along with a runner-up finish in the 2005 point standings with driver Dennis Setzer.
"We are very excited to have two veteran crew chiefs on board for the 2009 season," team co-owner Randy Moss said. "Eric has been with Randy Moss Motorsports for some time now and has done a great job and Doug has shown that he knows how to bring out the best in a rookie driver. We are real excited about what these guys can do together on the track and can't wait to get to Daytona next week."
Announcements regarding sponsorships for the No. 81 and No. 5 trucks will come in the near future.
