MARTINSVILLE, Va. -- Persistent rain forced postponement of Saturday's Kroger 250 Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway.

The race has been rescheduled for noon ET Monday (SPEED) at the .526-mile short track. Rick Crawford won the pole for the Kroger 250 during Saturday morning's time trials before rain washed out the race itself, as well as two scheduled Sprint Cup practice sessions.

2. Shane Sieg 94.326
3. Johnny Benson 94.307

7. Max Papis 94.148

Crawford, who turned a lap in 19.988 seconds (94.737 mph), was delighted that the qualifying session concluded before the worst of the weather arrived (watch video).

"I wanted to qualify, because I thought we had a truck that could sit on the pole," said Crawford, who claimed his sixth career pole in 301 starts and his second at Martinsville in 19 tries. "I found that out [Friday] in the second practice. It's a great piece we have here."

Second-place qualifier Shane Sieg will start beside Crawford on the front row, with defending series champion Johnny Benson third and Ron Hornaday fourth. Series points leader Kyle Busch starts 11th, and his closest pursuer, Todd Bodine, will take the green flag from the 19th spot.

Johnny Sauter, a contender for rookie of the year in the Truck Series, expects track conditions to change considerably because of Sunday's Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500 Sprint Cup race at Martinsville.

"The race track conditions are going to change a ton," Sauter said. "That's probably the biggest thing for me The biggest thing you've got to do is just watch the race track, because I'm pretty sure it'll get rubbered up real good [Sunday] and probably be a little bit tighter. We've just got to keep that in the back of our minds."
