7:54 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG/YELLOW FLAG NO. 1: Brian Vickers brings the field to the green as the Crown Royal 400 is under way.

7:53 p.m. -- The race will start under a yellow to help dry the track.

7:51 p.m. -- The track looks good, just a couple of wet spots up by the wall and pit road is wet. The cars are still running single-file against the wall to dry the outer groove. Pace car driver Brett Bodine thinks within the next five laps the track should be dry.

7:42 p.m. -- The cars are rolling off pit road and will take a couple warm-up laps along the wall in a single-file line to help dry the track.

7:38 p.m. -- Russ Friedman, winner of the Crown Royal "Your Name Here" contest, gives the command: "Gentlemen, start your engines!"

7:32 p.m. -- The Commandant's Own Marine Drum and Bugle Corps perform the national anthem.

7:31 p.m. -- Reverend Joe Ellison from Essex Village Community Church delivers the Invocation.

7:30 p.m. -- A moment of silence is held for David Poole.

7:17 p.m. -- Happy Birthday to Kyle Busch, who turns 24 today.

7:02 p.m. -- Jet dryers are on the track to hopefully get the track dry in time for the green.

7 p.m. -- FOX's pre-race coverage of the Crown Royal 400 is under way.

6:53 p.m. -- The rain has stopped at Richmond and the crews are getting the cars ready for the race.

6:02 p.m. ET -- The weather looks like dicey for the Crown Royal 400 at Richmond International Raceway. It's raining right now with temperatures in the mid-70s. Thunderstorms are forecast throughout the evening but they should be intermittent. Green flag is scheduled for 7:43 p.m. ET.
