AMS/RPDE offer ride-along package for March race

HAMPTON, Ga. -- Race fans can lay rubber on Atlanta Motor Speedway's high banks hours after their favorite drivers with a special offer from AMS and the Richard Petty Driving Experience for the Kobalt Tools 500 race weekend.

Allowing them to reach speeds of nearly 170 mph on Atlanta's high banks immediately after the March 7 Kobalt Tools 500, fans can purchase a ride-along with the Richard Petty Driving Experience for just $59 -- a savings of $50 off the retail price of $109 -- to accompany their Kobalt Tools 500 tickets.

Each RPDE ride-along gives race fans the opportunity to sit shotgun in a NASCAR-styled stock car with a professional driver for a three-lap qualifying run.

Fans will receive up to two specially-priced Richard Petty Driving Experience ride-along vouchers from the Atlanta Motor Speedway ticket office when they purchase two tickets to the Kobalt Tools 500, excluding $39 tickets and $19 student tickets. Fans can then call the Richard Petty Driving Experience at 1-800-BE-PETTY to purchase and schedule a ride-along time.

The program will begin one hour after the conclusion of the Kobalt Tools 500 and will last until approximately 10 p.m. ET. A limited quantity of post-race ride-alongs are available and interested fans are encouraged to purchase now to reserve their spot.
