Two of America's most popular sports -- fishing and auto racing -- have formed a partnership that's sure to please avid fans. Fetha Styx, a Redmond, Wash.-based fishing rod manufacturer, is releasing a new line of licensed NASCAR Signature rods, which will make their debut at ICAST on July 15-17 in Las Vegas.

"Some may wonder about the connection between fishing and auto racing," said Bill Boyce, CEO of Fetha Styx. "The truth is that fishing is a leading outdoor activity among NASCAR fans. Statistically this means an impressive one of every three NASCAR fans count fishing as a regular hobby."

Fetha Styx's NASCAR Signature Series will feature popular drivers such as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon and Danica Patrick. Each rod will be designed with the driver's colors, signature and NASCAR logo.

Beyond bringing together two of America's favorite sports, the partnership is about making a difference; a portion of the proceeds from each rod sold in the series will go to support the driver's individual charity or the NASCAR Foundation.
