Five things with ... driver Ricky Carmichael

A solid piece of pop culture himself, Ricky Carmichael, father of twin toddlers, will campaign his first full-time Camping World Truck Series season with Monster Energy on his No. 4 Chevy.

When he's not on the track, Carmichael raises chickens at his home in Tallahassee, Fla. He has five chickens in his coop and they lay five eggs a day so he uses the eggs to feed his family and friends.

Carmichael: Leno for sure.

2. What do you think of Ellen as an Idol judge?

Carmichael: I don't know. I kind of liked the original panel for sure. It is hard to beat the first go around of any show. I think it will be hard to beat the first panel they had.

3. If you were a politician what would be your scandal of choice if forced to choose? Sex tape, love child, campaign fraud?

Carmichael: I am not a politician at all and don't ever want to be one. So, you never have to worry about a scandal with me.

4. Which celebritot is more apt to have a well-adjusted childhood; Suri Cruise or Shiloh Pitt?

Carmichael: Shiloh without a doubt.

5. If you could ask Lady Gaga one question, what would it be?

Carmichael: It would have to be if her eyes are really that big around or are they fake eyelashes. Or maybe she just opens them up really wide?

Bonus ... You're snowed in for a week with three NASCAR drivers. Who are they and why?

Carmichael: Ron Hornaday, just because you know you will have a good time with him. Kevin Harvick because we are good buddies and we would give each other so much crap it would be very entertaining. And I have to throw Jimmie Johnson in the mix because I need to rub off some of his talent.
