Smith happy to share his ice cream, but with whom?

Regan Smith, driver of the No. 78 Chevrolet for Furniture Row Racing, answers this week's pop culture questions.

1. What's the most indulgent thing you do to spoil your dogs?

Smith: Champ, my Doberman, eats my ice cream right off the cone and when we go to Dunkin Donuts he gets a munchkin.

In most instances, Regan Smith prefers texting to talking.

2. Most played song on your iTunes play list?

Smith: Anything by Avenged Sevenfold; they're kind of real hard rock.

3. If you lost your NASCAR ride, what other series would you race?

Smith: That's an easy one for me because I've gotten to know Tony Schumacher pretty well hanging around drag racing, so definitely NHRA.

4. On average, how many texts do you send in a month?

Smith: A lot! I probably send about 1,000 because it's easier than talking. I don't generally want to talk that often so it's good.

5. What's the first thing that pops into your head when I say Kim Kardashian?

Smith: Big [rear end], and I wouldn't have said that until I saw her in Las Vegas.

6. If you could dine with someone from the afterlife who would it be and why?

Smith: Davey Allison. I was a huge fan and never got to meet him and also I'm very close to his family now. The way it all worked out when I moved to the South, I got to be real close to the family.
