Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 2 Penske Racing Dodge, answers this week's pop culture questions.
1. Most ash-stranded Europeans are home now, but if you had to pick a U.S. city to be stranded in, which would it be and why?
Busch: Right now, anybody who knows me well knows that I'd have to say Chicago. Baseball season is off and running and everyone knows how much I love my Cubbies. I've even thought of getting a condo near Wrigley, so I could catch as many games as possible. If you're talking about a particular city in general -- no matter what season it is -- give me my hometown of [Las] Vegas, baby!
2. If you could "draft" someone from the garage to your team, who would it be and why?

Busch: That's a trick question, right? Are you talking about some other driver as a teammate or someone in the trenches? The answer everyone wants to read probably is that I'd draft my brother, Kyle, as a teammate or I'd draft somebody like Chad Knaus as my crew chief ... so there you have it. That's not being totally truthful, though, because I really am happy with everything just like it is right now. Our team is solid and we have all the right people in the right places. The three Penske teams are working so well together that I wouldn't want to upset the apple cart.
3. Bret Michaels was in bad shape but will be touring again in no time. What 80s hair band would you like to see make a comeback?
Busch: What about Slaughter? Those guys were from Vegas. They had a pretty rocking song called 'Up All Night' that was so appropriate for being from Vegas. I don't know about making a comeback, though. Seems like someone told me the lead guitarist, or maybe it was the drummer, got killed in a car crash.
4. If you see someone being mugged at gunpoint, what's your first move?
Busch: Call 911? Seriously, I think it would be a case of acting on instinct. I've never been a guy to run from anything and maybe that's not the smartest quality to have. I could get down in that Kung Fu pose and make those noises that the guy did in all the Police Academy movies. Man, that's a pretty good question and the honest answer is that I don't know. I would hope that I could do the right thing and be the hero.
5. You're given permission to amend one of NASCAR's recent rule changes. What would it be and how would you change it?
Busch: Two weeks ago, I probably would have said to do away with having the three shots at a green-white-checkered finish. But, after we were able to make up 24 spots like we did at Talladega, I guess I'm a little softhearted about that one now. I'm a racer and we maybe have some different line of thinking from week to week. In general, I think things are going pretty well right now, really.
6. If you could pick a lifetime supply of one sponsor product, what would it be? Crown Royal, M&Ms, Red Bull ... what and why?
Busch: With what has come down in the last few weeks [changing sponsors for the 2011 season], I definitely want to get hooked up for the lifetime deal for Miller Lite. At least I know that those buddies of mine will still be an in-house sponsor at Penske Racing. I'll bet that if we can pull off winning a championship this year, I can get MillerCoors to agree to a lifetime supply deal, and that's the big goal: to win us a championship in that 'Blue Deuce' car.
