Sauter likes good humor, pancakes and quiet time

Johnny Sauter, driver of the No. 13 Chevrolet in the Truck Series, answers this week's pop culture questions.

1. What keeps you up at night?

Sauter

Sauter: Myself. It is my only alone time. You know people are constantly stopping by the shop and we have a baby now so the only time I have to myself is at night.

2. Name one outrageous thing you do to spoil your pets.

Sauter: I let my cat eat off my dinner plate and I just noticed my cat also has an appetite for liquorice, red liquorice.

3. What has surprised you most about parenthood so far?

Sauter: I've always felt like things should be nice, neat and orderly but with a child it is next to impossible and it doesn't bother me. It's a different deal when it is your kid.

4. Reveal something nerdy about yourself.

Sauter: I Tivo The Three Stooges on AMC but I don't think that is really nerdy; it's good humor.

5. Your thoughts on rules and sports; the NFL, NASCAR, MLB, etc.

Sauter: I can tell you this much, the more rules they make the less people are interested in it.

6. Tells us the most sophisticated dish you can cook from start to finish.

Sauter: Pancakes, it's true ... Aunt Jemima.
