Richard Petty Motorsports on Tuesday named Todd Parrott crew chief for driver Elliott Sadler and the No. 19 Ford team in the Sprint Cup Series. Parrott replaces Wally Rogers, who will remain with RPM.

Parrott joins RPM from his position as R&D Manager at Roush Fenway Racing. He was named crew chief for Matt Kenseth on Feb. 17, replacing Drew Blickensderfer after the Daytona 500. On June 23, Parrott was moved to the R&D position and replaced by Jimmy Fenning as crew chief for Kenseth.
Parrott and Sadler previously worked together at Robert Yates Racing in 2004.
"We are happy to welcome Todd to our team and reunite him with Elliott," said Robbie Loomis, vice president of competition for RPM. "We appreciate all of Wally Rogers' hard work with this team for the first half of the season. He will continue to be a valuable member of RPM."
Parrott was given his first opportunity as crew chief in fall 1995, when he accepted a position at Yates Racing to lead Ernie Irvan's team. Parrott teamed up with Jarrett for the 1996 season.
Parrott also served as general manager for Yates Racing briefly in 2003, then resumed crew chief duties for Sadler, David Gilliland and Travis Kvapil while with Yates.
Last year, Parrott was the crew chief for Bobby Labonte and the No. 96 team. The duo also worked together at Petty Enterprises.
