MARTINSVILLE, Va. -- It's fair to say Ron Hornaday clocked Kyle Busch on Saturday at Martinsville Speedway.
No, Hornaday didn't knock Busch around the race track during the Kroger 200 Truck Series race at the .526-mile short track.

Instead, he beat Busch to the checkered flag to win for the first time at Martinsville, coincidentally the first time the track's coveted grandfather clock trophy -- in the past the exclusive province of Cup winners -- has been awarded in the Truck Series.
The victory was Hornaday's second of the season and the 47th of his career.
"They should have put the clock up earlier -- it might have given me a little more motivation," Hornaday quipped after the race.
Hornaday, a four-time Truck Series champion, powered his No. 33 Chevrolet away from Busch's No. 18 Toyota on Lap 205, the first lap of a green-white-checkered-flag finish that sent the race six laps past its scheduled distance of 200 laps.
Busch ran second, followed by series points leader Todd Bodine, Jason White and Aric Almirola. Mike Skinner, David Starr, Stacy Compton, Ricky Carmichael and Matt Crafton completed the top 10.
A succession of cautions slowed the action three times in the final 25 laps. The 11th and final caution of the race, caused by Cody Cambensy's spin on Lap 197, set up the two-lap dash to the finish.
Hornaday cited the addition of crew chief Butch Hylton to his team as a decisive factor. Hylton is the 11th crew chief with whom Hornaday has won a race.
"Butch and I worked together at RCR [Richard Childress Racing]," Hornaday said. "We worked together at KHI. He left for a little bit. He came back, and we're just jelling. The truck unloaded just unbelievable.
"When we made the change, I told them [owners Kevin and DeLana Harvick] that we were going to get results. We came to Martinsville to win."
