Lap 267 -- CHECKERED FLAG: David Reutimann claims victory in the LifeLock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, his second career Cup Series win and first victory that went the full distance. Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer and Jamie McMurray round out the top five.

Lap 266 -- WHITE FLAG: David Reutimann holds the lead with one lap to go.

Lap 263 -- Jamie McMurray continues to hold on to fifth place after starting on the pole.

Lap 259 -- David Reutimann continues to put distance between himself and Carl Edwards.

Lap 258 -- David Reutimann puts Kurt Busch two laps down with nine laps to go.

Lap 253 -- Carl Edwards is in good position for the second top-five finish of his season.

Lap 250 -- David Reutimann's lead is about two seconds over Carl Edwards with 17 laps to go.

Lap 246 -- Martin Truex Jr. is back up to 11th, just ahead of David Ragan.

Lap 242 -- Carl Edwards gets around Jeff Gordon for second place.

Lap 239 -- With green-flag stops done, the top 10 are David Reutimann, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray, Kasey Kahne, Jeff Burton, Denny Hamlin, Tony Stewart and Paul Menard.

Lap 236 -- LEAD CHANGE: David Reutimann regains the lead as green-flag stops cycle through, but Reutimann says he is fighting a really bad vibration. He does lead Jeff Gordon by more than three seconds with 30 laps remaining.

Lap 235 -- LEAD CHANGE: Juan Montoya takes over the lead when Carl Edwards and Martin Truex Jr. pit under green.

Lap 234 -- LEAD CHANGE: Carl Edwards takes the lead when Clint Bowyer heads to the pits.

Lap 233 -- LEAD CHANGE: Clint Bowyer takes the lead when David Reutimann and Jeff Gordon hit pit road under green.

Lap 232 -- David Reutimann continues to pull away, while Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer battle for second.

Lap 229 -- Jimmie Johnson makes his scheduled green-flag pit stop, and he takes four tires and fuel. He also gets another chassis adjustment.

Lap 228 -- Greg Biffle's engine finally gives up the ghost, but he's able to stay on the apron and keep the oil off the track and the yellow flag at bay.

Lap 226 -- And just like that, Kasey Kahne climbs to sixth.

Lap 221 -- The top 15 has stayed largely static. From sixth to 15th, not much movement for position changes.

Lap 218 -- It didn't take long for David Reutimann to stretch out the lead once he got into the clean air. He now leads Jeff Gordon by more than a second.

Lap 213 -- LEAD CHANGE: David Reutimann finally completes the pass, taking over the lead from Jeff Gordon.

Lap 212 -- Carl Edwards gets around Jamie McMurray for fourth place.

Lap 207 -- David Reutimann has dropped off the challenge for a time, but ran side-by-side with Jeff Gordon for several laps.

Lap 203 -- David Reutimann is giving Jeff Gordon all he can handle, but Gordon's been able to hold him off by using the high line.

Lap 202 -- Matt Kenseth has quietly moved into the top 15. He's made the biggest move of the top 15 cars, having started 34th.

Lap 199 -- Jeff Gordon has led 35 laps, only the sixth race this season in which he's led at least 30.

Lap 197 -- They're changing the fuel pump on Kevin Harvick's Chevrolet. Greg Biffle is down to 18th.

Lap 196 -- Denny Hamlin is running 10th, and Mark Martin is up to 14th.

Lap 194 -- Points leader Kevin Harvick has taken his car to the garage. David Reutimann passed Jamie McMurray for third.

Lap 193 -- Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart are up to fifth through seventh.

Lap 192 -- Greg Biffle things his engine might be on the verge of blowing up, so he's gone to the outside line and is trying to save it for the final 75 laps.

Lap 190 -- Carl Edwards is dropping, down to seventh now, as Jeff Gordon starts to check out a little. Greg Biffle has pulled into the outside line and is losing positions.

Lap 189 -- GREEN FLAG: Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer lead the field back to green.

Lap 184 -- Drivers hit pit road. David Reutimann took a half pound out of his right rear, Clint Bowyer takes a half-round out of the track bar and takes on all the fuel he can, and Jeff Gordon takes just four tires, fuel, and a small piece of tape. Jamie McMurray went down one round on the track bar.

Lap 181 -- Kevin Harvick's crew is hard at work under his hood on pit road.

Lap 180 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 4: Bill Elliott goes into the wall, then gets T-boned by Robby Gordon, who couldn't stop in time to avoid him.

Lap 178 -- Tony Stewart has gotten past Martin Truex Jr. for eighth place.

Lap 174 -- Jimmie Johnson had to pit again after hitting the wall, dropping him two laps down and putting him 33rd in the running order.

Lap 172 -- Juan Montoya, Kasey Kahne, Denny Hamlin, David Ragan and A.J. Allmendinger make up spots 11-15.

Lap 169 -- David Reutimann takes second from Jamie McMurray, and Jimmie Johnson is up to 20th.

Lap 167 -- David Reutimann is going low and trying to get past Jamie McMurray for second. McMurray is calling for some big changes to his Chevrolet to tighten the car up for the final 100 laps.

Lap 166 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jeff Gordon passes Jamie McMurray for the lead, becoming the third leader of the evening..

Lap 162 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is up to 14th after lowering the track bar and making an air pressure adjustment. David Ragan is up to 15th.

Lap 161 -- Juan Montoya now says he has a vibration in the right rear, saying he thinks it might be a loose wheel.

Lap 159 -- Jamie McMurray has stretched his lead over Jeff Gordon to nearly one second.

Lap 157 -- Paul Menard works his way past Montoya, climbing back into the top 10.

Lap 154 -- Juan Montoya continues to sit in 10th, the same position in which he started. He's been solid all night long though he hasn't yet challenged for the lead.

Lap 151 -- Greg Biffle also climbs past Martin Truex Jr., hugging the bottom line and taking over seventh.

Lap 149 -- Martin Truex Jr. loses another spot, this time to Carl Edwards, and Truex says he's having trouble getting his car to turn in the middle of the corner.

Lap 147 -- Clint Bowyer gets past Martin Truex Jr. for fourth. Jeff Burton follows him past Truex, taking fifth.

Lap 145 -- Don't look now, but Kyle Busch has moved up to 17th after starting 33rd.

Lap 144 -- David Reutimann passes Martin Truex Jr. for third.

Lap 141 -- Jamie McMurray continues to hold the lead after another strong restart. Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton and Carl Edwards are battling for sixth.

Lap 140 -- GREEN FLAG: Jamie McMurray and Jeff Gordon will lead the field back to green just past the halfway mark.

Lap 138 -- Jimmie Johnson hits pit road to have the grass cleaned off his splitter after sliding through the grass. Johnson is now listed in 24th after restarting second.

Lap 137 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 3: Jimmie Johnson just spun out while racing with Martin Truex Jr. Johnson's car appears to be mostly clean.

Lap 136 -- GREEN FLAG: Jamie McMurray and Jimmie Johnson lead the field to green on the second restart of the race.

Lap 134 -- Kurt Busch is still on pit road, with crewmen under his hood doing some serious adjustments. They changed two front shocks. He's listed in 33rd place.

Lap 131 -- Leaders hit pit road. David Reutimann took some more air out of his front tires, along with four tires. Jeff Gordon gets an air pressure and trackbar adjustment. Another chassis adjustment for Jimmie Johnson. Air pressure change in the right rear for Jamie McMurray.

Lap 129 -- YELLOW FLAG NO. 2: The race goes back under caution for debris in Turn 2.

Lap 127 -- Paul Menard has moved into the top 10.

Lap 123 -- Jimmie Johnson is right behind Jamie McMurray now, and diving to the inside to make an attempt at the pass.

Lap 122 -- Jimmie Johnson is down only three-tenths of a second to Jamie McMurray at the front of the field.

Lap 120 -- Martin Truex Jr. continues to slide, as Jeff Gordon moves past him for fourth. Truex said his car has been trouble in Turns 3 and 4.

Lap 118 -- The sun is setting, and the handling is about to get a little trickier as the track continues to cool.

Lap 116 -- David Reutimann gets around teammate Martin Truex Jr. for third. He loves love.

Lap 114 -- Unlike their teammate, Kevin Harvick, both Clint Bowyer (ninth) and Jeff Burton (12th) have been solidly inside the top 15 for much of the race.

Lap 111 -- Jamie McMurray's lead is down to 1.1 seconds over Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 108 -- Jimmie Johnson just passed Martin Truex Jr. for second.

Lap 107 -- Jamie McMurray's lead is up to 2.2 seconds on Martin Truex Jr., but Jimmie Johnson is the fastest car on the track while running third.

Lap 106 -- There are some big names further back in the field, as Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch are battling for 27th. Yep, 27th.

Lap 104 -- Greg Biffle is in danger of falling out of the top 10 after starting fourth.

Lap 102 -- Denny Hamlin has climbed into the top 15, sitting 14th behind Jeff Burton.

Lap 100 -- Jamie McMurray, Martin Truex Jr., Jimmie Johnson, David Reutimann and Jeff Gordon comprise the top five.

Lap 98 -- Jimmie Johnson is third after missing the pits on his first attempt. He's about four seconds behind Jamie McMurray.

Lap 96 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jamie McMurray took over the lead when Jimmie Johnson took to the pits.

Lap 95 -- Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon hit the pits together, Gordon taking another round down and Johnson had a chassis adjustment and four tires.

Lap 93 -- Tony Stewart is in the pits, and had a smooth stop. Martin Truex Jr. took four tires and fuel.

Lap 92 -- We're in the midst of green-flag pit stops. David Reutimann came in and took out air from both front tires.

Lap 90 -- Jimmie Johnson's lead is now over the 2-second mark. The rest of the top five: Jamie McMurray, Martin Truex Jr., David Reutimann and Jeff Gordon.

Lap 88 -- Five cars are out of the race now: Landon Cassill, Casey Mears, Mike Bliss, Max Papis and Joe Nemechek.

Lap 85 -- Dale Earnhardt Jr. is running 21st, but is not pleased with his car in any way.

Lap 80 -- Juan Montoya is making his move, passing Greg Biffle to take over seventh.

Lap 78 -- Carl Edwards is up to sixth, the top-running Ford.

Lap 72 -- Coming off his Nationwide Series victory, Kyle Busch has climbed from 33rd to 25th.

Lap 71 -- All four Richard Petty Motorsports cars are in the top 20, with Kasey Kahne leading the way in 11th.

Lap 70 -- Tony Stewart is up to eighth, and Clint Bowyer has climbed into the top 10.

Lap 68 -- Michael Waltrip Racing teammates Martin Truex Jr. and David Reutimann are staying solid in third and fourth.

Lap 66 -- Bad news for the field: Jimmie Johnson said his car is much better and is getting through the middle of the turns much easier.

Lap 64 -- There are six Chevrolets in the top 10: Jimmie Johnson, Jamie McMurray, Jeff Gordon, Juan Montoya, Tony Stewart and Jeff Burton.

Lap 60 -- Jimmie Johnson has now led more laps than he's ever led in his career to start a race.

Lap 58 -- Jamie McMurray is closing back up on Jimmie Johnson. He was on his bumper in the first lap after the restart before falling back a little, but McMurray is running the high line and is making up time.

Lap 57 -- Brad Keselowski is up to 18th, the highest-running Dodge.

Lap 56 -- Tony Stewart is back in the top 10 after a pit stop error by the jackman sent him back to 17th on the restart.

Lap 53 -- Jimmie Johnson has started to check out again, opening up a .7-second lead on Jamie McMurray.

Lap 51 -- Tony Stewart is right back in the thick of things, sitting in 12th after a terrible pit stop put him back in the field.

Lap 48 -- Jeff Gordon has gotten around A.J. Allmendinger and just slid right past Juan Montoya on the inside to take over seventh.

Lap 46 -- Juan Montoya and A.J. Allmendinger are running seventh and eighth after battling Jeff Gordon.

Lap 44 -- Jimmie Johnson got around Martin Truex Jr., but he has Jamie McMurray right behind him now.

Lap 43 -- GREEN FLAG: Jimmie Johnson leads the field back to green.

Lap 41 -- Martin Truex Jr. made a big jump, moving up to second with a fast pit stop. Tony Stewart had opposite luck, going into the pits second and coming out 17th.

Lap 40 -- The leaders hit pit road, with Jeff Gordon taking two rounds out and Jimmie Johnson taking a chassis adjustment.

Lap 39 -- YELLOW FLAG No. 1: The race goes under caution when David Stremme makes hard contact with the wall.

Lap 38 -- Not only did David Reutimann get around Greg Biffle, but now Martin Truex Jr. has as well, putting Biffle down to sixth and just in front of his Roush Fenway teammate Carl Edwards.

Lap 36 -- David Reutimann and Greg Biffle are battling for fourth as they trade position several times.

Lap 35 -- Jamie McMurray has gotten around Greg Biffle, using the lapped car of Travis Kvapil, for third.

Lap 34 -- Mark Martin is up to 17th after starting 21st.

Lap 30 -- Jeff Gordon has fallen from sixth to eighth, and Gordon says his car is loose on entry and he can't get back to the gas as hard as he'd like.

Lap 29 -- Regan Smith has climbed from 41st to 31st in the first 30 laps.

Lap 28 -- Greg Biffle remains third, but he is a whopping 2.4 seconds off the pace set by Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 25 -- Sam Hornish Jr. has fallen all the way to 14th after starting fifth.

Lap 23 -- David Reutimann is continuing his strong run, sitting fifth between fourth-place Jamie McMurray and sixth-place Jeff Gordon.

Lap 20 -- Jimmie Johnson has opened up a 1-second lead on Tony Stewart.

Lap 19 -- Brad Keselowski is motoring his way through the field, up to 21st after starting 30th.

Lap 17 -- Greg Biffle says he has some front tire chatter, but he's still holding on to third.

Lap 15 -- Carl Edwards has climbed up to eighth from his 11th-place starting spot.

Lap 13 -- Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart are pulling away. Greg Biffle is 1.2 seconds off the lead in third.

Lap 11 -- Sam Hornish Jr. is down to 12th from his starting spot of fifth.

Lap 9 -- Kasey Kahne has already picked up four spots, up to eighth from 12th.

Lap 7 -- Tony Stewart works his way past Greg Biffle for second, but he's still a half-second behind leader Jimmie Johnson.

Lap 6 -- Jamie McMurray says his car is tighter than he expected it to be.

Lap 4 -- Jamie McMurray continues to slide, as he's down to fourth after being passed by Greg Biffle and Tony Stewart.

Lap 3 -- David Reutimann is up to sixth after passing Sam Hornish Jr.

Lap 1 -- LEAD CHANGE: Jimmie Johnson uses the inside lane to grab the lead from Jamie McMurray.

7:47 p.m. -- GREEN FLAG: Jamie McMurray leads the field to green for 267 laps in the LifeLock.com 400.

7:37 p.m. -- Duncan Keith of the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks delivers the command to start engines.

7:31 p.m. -- Jim Cornelison, the Chicago Blackhawks national anthem singer, performs.

7:30 p.m. -- Glenn Spoolstra, Director of Raceway Windy City Ministries, delivers the invocation.

6:04 p.m. ET -- It is currently 88 degrees with plenty of humidity in Joliet, Ill. Weather reports say there's about a 50 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms near the 9 p.m. ET range. The green flag is scheduled to drop at 7:46 p.m. ET.
