Harvicks OK following fire at home
Couple causes alarm with early-morning images

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick and his wife DeLana have a strong presence on social media, so it's not unusual to see them tweeting at all hours of the day and night.

What was alarming, though, was to see DeLana tweet a picture of fire trucks at the couple's home at approximately 2 a.m. ET.

According to a statement the couple released later Wednesday, a fire started in the basement of their North Carolina home.

The statement: "Last night the local fire department was called to the Harvick's house where a fire started in the basement in the early morning hours. There was structural and smoke damage within the area. Kevin, DeLana and Keelan were not injured. Thank you all for the outpouring of concern."

Harvick, who will join Stewart-Haas Racing in 2014, finished third in the final 2013 points standings in his final year with Richard Childress Racing.

Below are the images DeLana tweeted, and Kevin posted on Instagram.
