73: The number of NASCAR Nationwide Series starts for Aric Almirola, who hasn’t competed in NASCAR’s No. 2 series since 2011, his only full season in the series. With Michael Annett facing surgery for a fractured and dislocated sternum suffered at Daytona, Almirola will be pressed into service this weekend and will drive Richard Petty Motorsports’ No. 43 NNS Ford as well as his usual No. 43 Sprint Cup ride. Almirola is credited with one Nationwide victory -- in 2007 at the Milwaukee Mile. With scheduled driver Denny Hamlin late on a commute from Sonoma, Almirola started the AT&T 250 for Joe Gibbs Racing and completed 58 laps before Hamlin arrived and took over.
