Frank Stoddard solidified his position as one of the best crew chiefs in the Nextel Cup series after several successful years working with Jeff Burton at Roush Racing.
His introduction to NASCAR as a crew chief came with Dana Patten's Busch North Series team. As crew chief, he and Patten put into motion a race program that included a run for the BNS rookie of the year honors. Their bid was successful, finishing second overall in the BNS points.
