James Ince has established himself as one of the top crew chiefs in the Nextel Cup Series. Ince returns for the 2005 season as the wrench boss for Hermie Sadler.
In his career as a crew chief, Ince has presided over best all-time finishes for Benson, David Green, Kevin Lepage, Ted Musgrave and Rich Bickle.
In November 2002, Ince saw Benson to his first career Nextel Cup victory (the Pop Secret 400 at Rockingham) after the driver came back from rib injuries suffered earlier in the year.
