Lee McCall returns as Sterling Marlin's crew chief with hopes of winning the NASCAR championship.
In 2002, McCall and the No. 40 team were title contenders for much of the season, but Marlin was forced to sit out the final seven races of the year with a neck injury.
During Marlin's absence, McCall sparked substitute driver Jamie McMurray to his first victory in only his second Cup series race.
McCall has been a crew chief with Chip Ganassi Racing since 2001. He previously served on crews with Penske-Kranefuss, KEL Racing, Hendrick Motorsports and Yates Racing.
