At 45, Scott Miller gets his first shot to be a Winston Cup crew chief, and he will work with Ricky Craven and PPI Motorsports in 2003.

Miller is a former employee of PPI and returns to the team from Richard Childress Racing. During his time with RCR, he was a shock and chassis specialist. Miller worked at PPI during the 2000 season.
