Todd Berrier, still in his early 30s, brings his impressive resume to the Cup ranks as the mechanic boss for Kevin Harvick. If history is any indication Berrier should have success at the highest level of NASCAR.
In 2001, he served as the crew chief for Harvick, leading to him to the Busch Series crown. A year earlier, Berrier and Harvick teamed up to place third in the Busch points chase, earning him the rookie of the year honor.
Prior to entering the Busch Series, Berrier was named the crew chief for the No. 3 Craftsman Truck Series Richard Childress Racing team midway through 1997 and stayed in that position until 1999, producing four wins for driver Jay Sauter.
