Ultra Motorsports opened in 1994 as one of the first racing operations to build and prepare trucks for the newly established NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
From 1995 to 2003, Ultra Motorsports has earned 30 wins and has visited Victory Lane in each of its first nine years of existence. Ultra has also won 35 poles.
Ultra Motorsports became a multi-team operation in 2000 with the purchase of the No. 7 NASCAR Cup Series team, and expanded the fleet even more by adding a second truck program in 2001.
All of Ultra Motorsportsı race teams operate out of adjacent 20,000-square foot facilities in Mooresville, N.C. The shops bring together old-style charm and a modern-edge feel with all the advances in todayıs technology. Included in this flourishing facility is a multi-task strength and conditioning center, trophy room, transporter bay, and showroom floor boasting a No. 7 championship car driven by the late Alan Kulwicki.
