1954: Harry Dinwiddie, who started one Cup Series race in 1980, is born on this day. Dinwiddie finished a very respectable 12th in the 1980 Talladega 500 after starting 38th. He completed 173 laps, finishing 15 laps behind winner Neil Bonnett, one of five drivers to finish on the lead lap.
