1998: Matt Kenseth wins the GM Goodwrench Service Plus 200 Nationwide Series race at Rockingham for his first NASCAR victory. Kenseth leads only the 197th lap, passing Tony Stewart for the win. Stewart's second-place finish was his best at the time. He would get his first win the following year in the Cup Series. His first Nationwide win wouldn't come until 2005 in his 42nd Nationwide race.
