1956: Billy Myers wins the final Cup race at half-mile Palm Beach Speedway in West Palm Beach, Fla. Buck Baker, who finishes second, leads the first 32 laps, Jim Reed the next 109, and Myers the final 59 in the 200-lap race. Myers wins his only two Cup races in 1956 and finishes a career-best sixth in the standings.
