1955: Jim Paschal picks up his only win at Orange Speedway in Hillsborough, N.C., winning a 100-lap race on the 1-mile dirt track by a half-lap over Buck Baker. Don White is third, the only other car on the lead lap. Paschal leads the final 52 laps after pole-sitter Tim Flock drops out with a broken spindle after leading the first 48 laps. Paschal finishes his Cup career with 25 wins and victories on 19 tracks.
