1956: At the age of 23, Donald Thomas makes his 79th and final start in NASCAR. Thomas finishes 29th in a 150-lap race on Langhorne (Pa.) Speedway's 1-mile dirt track. Thomas' brother Herb finishes second to Buck Baker, and Tim Flock is third. Donald, who made his debut at the age of 17 at Martinsville and finished seventh, wins one race in his career: in 1952, when he finishes a personal-best ninth in the standings.
